As all Chic-Fil-A go, it's always busy. Food is good quality for the brand. Staff still has some training and learning to do. One of my trips took a half hour because they didn't know how to handle orders from the app in the drive through.Also, some of the staff are too chatty, I'd like to eat in peace with my party.
I wanted to try their new market salad. It was terrible. The chicken strips were not even strips just verySmall pieces of chicken. Had about 5 blueberries,2 strawberries and lots and lots of lettuce so disappointed.I can go buy a whole head of lettuce for 1.50 if I wanted a lettuce salad.This salad was $9.11 so disappointed. The kids outside where all very nice, not their fault.
Order incorrect. Dining inside the restaurant.First attempt to fix received a second replacement sandwich (meat & bun cold). The cheese couldn't even melt.This should not have been the case. Customers are in constant flow and cars are wrapped around the building. No getting over here--ordered with my reward points. Poor customer service. Ugggh! So annoying.
Extremely long waits unlike any other CFA that I have ever been to. 5+ other cars will get their food before you get yours. I have gave this location entirely too many chances out of location convenience and tonight is the last night! I'd honestly rather take a drive elsewhere. Hard cookies, and as of lately, I have noticed that everytime I eat here, I have loose bowels when I have eaten nothing else but from here. This is a horrible location, with horrible, inconsistent food being served, and horrible customer service. I am done!!!!
This store is awesome at getting orders to you in a quick timely matter, they are appropriately staffed at busy times... Which is pretty much from open to close most days. I especially appreciate this because not only do I eat here and the food is always hot and tastes great each time (I'm partial to their nuggets) I also pick up deliveries from them on the daily. The best part is that they keep up on their deliveries and the wait time for those to be filled is within the pick up time range. This is huge for those of us who do deliveries as it allows us to keep the flow moving so we can make more deliveries. The store ambience and employees is fantastic, it is clean, and definitely family friendly. There are several handicapped spaces up front for those who need handicapped parking and there is a small ramp for those in wheelchairs. I believe there are at least two or three spaces directly up front and non handicapped spaces to the side that can be used as well. As busy as this store is, non handicapped spaces fill up quick. They also have over flow parking which is great too. The inside seating area is open to the public. Masks are encouraged but most patrons don't wear them. Its by choice really. One of my favorite things about this restaurant is the employees. You can tell when a business treats their employees correctly and trains them well. Happy employees generally means happy customers. Great job guys! 5+ stars!
Normally I give great ratings to the customer service people there, but at 730am I got 2 biscuits and two hash browns and the warmest item was the chicken. Cold biscuits and cold dried out hash browns. How did that happen??? And only one car ahead of me.
Saw a poor review basically having the same experience I’ve been having with the Chick Fil A Schererville location. Their comment: “ Chick-fil-a, known for great, consistent food and customer service. For this location, maybe because it's only been around a year or 2 doesn't for the bill. Been here several times and it misses the top marks for Chick-fil-a. Do yourself a favor and head over to the Merrillville location or Popeyes, Wendy's, Arby's, etc..Sub-Standard chicken, soggy cold fries, and not just a one-time thing either sadly.”This is EXACTLY what’s been happening to me. Every time I come here, my usual order is NEVER consistent. I order a spicy chicken deluxe with a medium fry and sweet tea. The chicken patty is either lacking spice, too spicy, or the breading is falling apart. The bun has been too buttery to where it’s soggy and falling apart, or rock hard and stale. My fries are either overdone, too salty, limp, or just cold. My sweet tea is hardly ever sweet. This is extremely unfortunate as this is one of my favorite chains of fast food, and it’s minutes away from my home and I can’t enjoy it. I don’t know if it’s the cooks, or poor management, but I hope this place turns around and finds some order.Side note: during rush hours the drive thru can be a nightmare.

Had my daughters 8th Birthday party lunch here after an afternoon at the nail salon- The manager was very nice- wrote a sweet note on top of the chicken nuggets platter. Had a nice little area set for us and all together very accommodating for ten 8 year old girls + 5 adults! Highly recommend stopping here for some good food :)!! Or catering/having a birthday party lunch here!
The spicy chicken sandwich was delicious. But the place is so popular that you need to be prepare to wait a while if you go through the drive up window. I would guess that we were tenth in line. Prices are reasonable. Better than average fast food place.
