The chicken fried steak skillet was excellent. Also I don't know if they make their own loaf's of bread there, but the toast was the best I've ever had.
My father's favorite pie is lemon meringue. He's a type 2 diabetic but he's 85 yrs old. He gets what he wants at his age, especially for Father's Day! The lady at the counter was great and explained that my favorite pie, the caramel pecan silk supreme, will hopefully be making a comeback soon. Fingers crossed.
My husband loves loves your Lemon pie he has been eating them for over 10 years 2 days ago his mom get him one and it was awful they changed everything it doesn't look or taste the same in any way, your company cheaped it and our family will never buy anything from their again it's so sad how you didn't think your customers would notice the difference.

Is usually great but got the ultimate skillet today and the sausage was really off. I said something to the waitress but she didn't offer a remedy. It will be quite awhile before I come back.
Third Lemon Supreme pie in the 3 months I purchased yesterday. Should have known to stay away, but I bought one. Absolutely disgusting the lemon looks like banana pudding, filling almost curdled and the crust was like chewing taffy. Had to throw the piece away, hoping I don’t get sick.
Had a great meal last couple times we've gone. Nice to see they have kept up quality over the years. You don't see this with all of the older restaurants located in the area of newer mainstream ones. Food was, as ordered, fresh, hot and delicious. Additional plus is that there wasn't a wait.
Love this place.. some classics are coming back .. hoping they can still expand… I miss the Merrillville location..
The breakfast is really good. Dinner is lacking severely in options. Same for pies. I really hope they bring back some of the options because I definitely don’t come as often since a lot of my favorites have stayed out. Service tends to be pretty good at this location, the waitresses are really nice here.
I'm just really disappointed! I have not been to Bakers Square for a few years but have been thinking about their delicious pies and decided to take my daughter there for a birthday dessert.The pie menu has been cut drastically!! This should have been the first clue. But they still had one of my favorites on the menu; triple berry, so I orderd it alamode (my daughter had the strawberry-rhubarb alamode). The pie slices were tiny. The dollop of ice cream was tiny. This is not the same triple berry they used to serve. Not even close! Barely any filling in the pies. They tasted like cheap store bought pies.They can do so much better than this!Our server was super friendly and did a great job. But even the great service cannot make up for the terrible pies. Just so disappointed that I took my daughter there for "birthday pie".
