Literally half my bun was hard and the other half stale and stiff. Hamburger was dry, fries were not the guaranteed hot and crispy. Driver thru was only serving one car at a time. What happened to multi tasking where they took an order for the car at the speaker while also collecting money and bagging food for the car at their window? They would seriously take the order, wait for the car to pull up, take the money, bag the food and hand it all out before even acknowledging the next car at the speaker. Honestly I thought it was just a bad day.. it happens. But when I went back a couple weeks later they were doing it the same way! And the order taker still got my order wrong! When I checked my food before pulling off and noticed it was wrong, she even said “oh, I didn’t hear that”. I can see you don’t multi task so how can you not hear my order correctly. And they were out of ALL frosty’s. How does that happen? Poor Management. That’s what it all boils down to, piss poor management. I’m done going to this Wendy’s. Portage has another Wendy’s that I’ll go to, or I’ll take a drive down Central and go to the Lake Station one.
The tables were dirty, no napkins, ketchup, and the soda machine only had 2 options to choose from, water or diet Fanta ... no one mentioned the machine was out of nearly everything or I would have passed on the meal let alone getting a Large. When both of the ketchup pumps were empty and asked for ketchup , she handed me 2 packets for our entire order.... whatever... and 4 napkins, 1 per person. I ended up finding 3 packets on a dirty table, hey, we needed them!!What the heck is going on up there? My last visit was much much better, food and service wise. I could hear the employees joking about the bags of food (trash) left on the table..and other messy areas. They did nothing to clean it up. Just refilled their beverages at the soda machine speaking poorly about customers and the mess around the restaurant. Doubt we'll be back. Wish I still had the receipt.... oh wait... we weren't given one, because I would have aired my grievances there with the 800#. Sorry I had to change my previous 5 star rating to a one star. I'm writing here in hopes someone higher up can address or check in on the management of that restaurant. Thank you.
The eating area was very clean and comfortable. The food was hot and delicious. Not enough staff. They needed more help.
Order was wrong, ordered a cheeseburger and somehow never got a bun with that burger. Often doesn't follow posted hours and items not available. Attempted to resolve the issue with my burger but they could never be bothered to reply.
Lid not put on all the way. Went all over my new sweater and my truck. Deep in the cup holder is orange soda and ice and pop all in my seat. "If they offered you a new drink and napkins there's nothing I can do" -management- manager did not apologize or even say she'd make it a coaching point for her team like I had suggested. This is my ONLY BAD FOOD REVIEW IVE EVER LEFT.
This last time was ATROCIOUS! Husband made a mistake on the order & left something off. He went INSIDE to fix the error & the chick behind the counter told him he had to go back through drive-thru which we already spent 15 minutes in because they don't take another order until the car getting served leaves the window. Totally unhelpful and awful experience. Husband said there were 4 employees just that he could see for counter and drive-thru.
The drink machine was out if ice. The girl at the counter said she would take care or it. I'm sure had my friend requested they give him ice from the back she would have helped him out.
I went to go order and they are out of grilled food my chicken nuggets were cold and instead of fries they gave me a potato. Not only that, when I went up to the cashier she had a attitude because I asked can she put cheese on it for me. Food was cold!
The cashier walked away to fix my order and I wasn't done ordering my food. The service was not the best and the food was not hot and fresh.
Good is still good for the money, but the fries ate the same as they have always been and could use some salt
