Went to Texas Roadhouse in Portage, IN tonight and had one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in my life. Heather is an amazing waitress & really made the dining experience awesome for us! Super attentive & even anticipated things we were going to need before we could ask for them. 10/10, would go back just for her again!
We had a party of 10 for Mother's Day. Our server was excellent! Food was really good. Steak could have been better, but we had a great time. Never had an empty cup or need for rolls. The server made the kids feel comfortable enough to ask her for things.It was a little more than I expected to pay, and I can't recall if they already out tip on the bill automatically due to the size of the group. If they did, I may have tipped twice.
Delicious food and amazing service! Our server Rob went above and beyond! He told us about the add on shrimp. It was a perfect addition to our meals. He was always quick to refill our drinks and make sure everything was perfect. He tempted us with dessert but we declined. His personality was energetic and friendly. Every part of our evening here was perfect. Will definitely be back again!
Rob was our server tonight and he was amazing! He made sure we got everything we wanted and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, while at the same time having an amazing upbeat attitude! Our food was perfect and we didn't have to wait long at all. I will definitely be coming back sometime soon!
(Updated at the bottom) Friendly service nice atmosphere. Portions are decent. Hurricane margarita was pretty weak. It was half off margarita day. Shrimp was ight nothing to brag about. Sirloin steak was pretty tough . Loaded baked potato was good lol... Not in a rush to go back. My second time going here.(Updated 5 star) Great server (tasha) great food ? Cactus blossom for starters, and I had a 8oz steak good well done, with ribs. To drink I had a sangria margarita. The steak was cooked perfectly not too tough. Ribs were delicious. Oh yeah green beans with bacon was good.. Drink was delicious as well and pretty well balanced not weak like I'd thought it would be. Nice atmosphere. We only waited a few minutes to be seated. No mask required. This is a good place to go for nice portions and good food. You won't be blown away but it's definitely not a disappointment..
Having a tough month until I stopped in on a routine night out to dinner. My server Caleb, didn’t only make me laugh with his jokes and his persona. Great experience and he left me feeling like I made a new friend. Will definitely be back!
Our server Ashley was very nice, friendly, and efficient. Made sure we were doing good and enjoying our food. We gave her a very good tip and praised her in front of her manager.
Probably best place around to get a good steak that dont taste so chain like kitchen to it and the most amazing rolls with home made like cinnamon butter
