Omg! Never again! I'll never order from here again! Ive long red hair down to my waist. So who's this? Ain't mine yet I found it in my food! I'm calling the health department on this place!
Some of the food is decent. My server appeared angry and I don't know why. A lot of people who work there don't speak English very well. That is a problem because this is America. Plain and simple. The tortillas fall apart in your hands and the horchata is watered down and disgusting! They charged $18 for a skinny little steak! I will never go back.
My niece, her daughter, and I really enjoyed our dinner and drinks here. They make a great pomegranate margarita. I had only been here once before while visiting my sister the very last time I got to see her. I was there this past weekend for her memorial and asked if we could go back here for dinner. When we entered the restaurant this time their specials board listed Pomegranate and Jalapeño Margaritas and my great niece and I both thought it sounded good, but, board should have said Pomegranate OR Jalapeño. We asked if they could combine the two and they did, it was fantastic! (They are large!). I really like the chips and salsa they serve, the chips are not overly salty like other places. I had the chicken Fajitas meal and it was really good. I cannot remember what my nieces ordered, sorry. The place is clean and bright and our server was so nice.
The food is awesome, with large portions, spotlessly clean restaurant which makes it a pleasure to eat there. This has to be one of the Best, if not the Best Mexican Restaurants I have ever eaten at.
Good location the food is the same as the La Cabanas in Valparaiso In. This Location is a little bit more open the bar is set in the back on the left -there’s really no windows back there but its still a nice bar ( fancy basement bar style) It’s more of a dining room setting in this location very open but they’re utilizing their space very well. if you like the Valparaiso Cabanas you may not like this location but here at the portage location you will have less of a wait time. Tacos aren't that great because the meat falls right through the corn shell. There salmon is awesome. Alcohol drinks are really strong which is fine. Service I'd give a 1. They take forever to bring you your drinks rather it'd be water or alcohol beverage. They barely check on you and ask if everything is ok or if you need anything. This was my 3rd time coming here and won't be back. El Pueblo in Portage is way better!
Best tacos around especially the soft corn shell chicken tacos which are double shelled and come with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes and the best Chihuahua cheese I've ever had! Go on Taco Tuesday and they're only $2.
This restaurant is not only extremely clean but the Food, Drink and Service are great. The restaurant has a beautiful bar, amazing Margaritas and a wonderful selection of delicious food and dessert options. They also have daily specials and the food is fresh with generous portions, my favorite place!
This restaurant is beyond compare ...food is always a 10!!!! The margaritas on the rocks are the best in the area!!! Highly recommended ..my wife and I are here 3 days a week!!! Great job to Alejandra...Jerry ...Aida....Alex and and all the employees for having an awesome atmosphere to relax and enjoy the dining experience.
Food is great, portions were very filling atmosphere is really nice too. The prices aren't bad either definitely gonna be a repeat customer here, had spicy steak, grilled chicken and a shrimp taco, they were perfect
