Surprised the entire chain hasn’t been closed for good. I never expect much when I have the displeasure of dining at Applebee’s, yet somehow the bar is always set lower than before. The food is flavorless and the drinks are blended water and ice. Ordered something that was supposed to be tossed in sauce and it was served dry. Asked for a cup of sauce, the sauce that should have been on the meal, and was charged for it. Ridiculous.
Today was the 3rd time I've ordered curbside in the past month and all 3 orders were wrong: raw burger, wrong burger and today they forgot the fries and I had to call from my car because I sat in a curbside spot for 15 minutes and no one came out. Two stars because this time my burger wasn't red in the middle.
Ordered a French Onion Soup last week, and it was absolutely disgusting. Now, everyone knows that this soup should be in a crock or bowl covered with melted cheese (that's the draw), flowing down the side of a bowl filled with beef broth & Onions & toasted bread or Croutons. This soup had neither. There was a slice of half melted cheese on top of broth in a bowl with a mushy slice of bread in it.I Sent back after seeing it and asked if they could at least melt and add some more cheese on top. Looks like another half slice of cheese was added on top and almost melted. Totally disappointed.Whatever you do don't order the French Onion Soup! Not worth the $6 I paid. I only ate the cheese after tasting what was under it. I should have ordered the mozzarella cheese sticks like I started to. Who the heck is cooking in that kitchen? They should've just said they were out of this soup!
All I can say is the food was horrible. Do not and I repeat DO NOT EVER go there anytime after 8:30pm You will NOT be HAPPY with the food You order. JUST A WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY.
The best service and food at an Applebee's that we had in a very long time. Thank you for great service
Me and my wife eat here regularly. The staff is always friendly, which makes the whole dining experience better. The food is always nice and hot when it arrives at our table. Just an enjoyable experience every time that we go.
I usually dont do this but our experience was not the best food and drinks where good sat at bar bc no seating bc of covid and halfway thru my dinner they seat a couple next to us and I over here the lady say it doesnt matter I cant taste it anyway so i ask why they where sat next to me and she responded with well we asked them if they where ok with sitting that close to us but what about me i was never asked am I in the wrong
Drinks were perfect for our night. Always a fan of Applebee's for a quick bite and drink. Nothing spectacular, but always friendly and exactly what is expected.
Food was OK. My friend ordered a medium cooked sirloin steak .got over cooked steak and she choked on a piece of it .really bad experience today . We won't be back to portage indiana location any time soon.
They forgot it food again and it's been mediocre at best were simply not going to go we tried it one more time but not worth the money anymore manager didn't seem to care much either
