Cheaply prepared food, disappointing, food for the masses. Ordered the southwest salad, it said mixed greens with blackened grilled chicken...what we got was cheap iceberg lettuce and the chicken looked like it came out of a can or package, not grilled, not blackened, tasted and looked like cat food. We returned it. Saw another customer return theirs too. Not worth 12 dollars. When I think of mixed greens with blackened chicken, I picture a good salad mix with various varieties of greens and topped with grilled chicken breast strips. Like something you would get at Chili's. Won't return to Perkins. Waitress was very kind and pleasant. Room temp was too cold inside on a cold rainy day. We were all cold.
Waited 15 minutes to get a waitress and never came so I left
My daughter and I dropped in for a takeout French silk pie. The two ladies working were super friendly and efficient plus Perkins pies are delicious. They were super understanding when my daughter was suddenly ill (before eating anything; definitely not related to the restaurant).
Kayla was our server and we really appreciate how well she took care of our family today. Perkins was perfect and exactly what we needed while traveling all day. Great service, friendly staff and delicious food. They also have a free slice of pie on Mondays if you purchase an entree. I may have to take advantage of that in the future!
Love this place...for delicious BLT sandwich and for yummy deserts. Buy 3 huge muffins and get 3 ...including mix and match with sticky bun, cinnamon roll etc. Great experience and Big YUMMY.
Unsure if Perkins in general is still 24 hours. Excellent food as always. I lived in Minnesota and Wisconsin for some time and there were more locations in suburban areas. The menu selection is a nice variety and you can't go wrong with dining on a budget while still expecting great food.
The hostess and wait staff were very pleasant. But it took everything I could to stay when we walked in the door and saw at the height of the pandemic, when the numbers are higher than they've ever been.... not one person working there had a mask on. I was so uncomfortable I could hardly make a decision on what to order but didn't want to leave because my elderly mom has trouble walking and we were already in the building. In 2 years , I think it's the first restaurant I've been in that nobody working had a mask on I was shocked.
An unfortunate experience for a Saturday night. Food was average but attention to detail felt poor. My step mother had something wrong with her order at every step, with the biggest offender being a failed substitute on her food. Asked for a sibstitute for spicy cheese and when the traditional order arrived at the table, the "correction" seemed to be scraping the chicken off the sandwich and slapping it onto a new set of bread instead of remaking the sandwich hoping she wouldn't notice the leftover pepper jack and ranch. I will add the manager handled the situation with grace by offering a discount and removing the item from the bill.
There are few Perkins in Indiana. Maybe It is my favorite franchise, I used to to eat there when I travelled to orlando, Fl. Excellent food and desserts. If you are tired to eat always in the same restaurants. You can choose this option
Rebecca was my server and she was very nice. The food was quick and great tasting. This was a great dining experience. Would recommend. Wish more restaurants were like this!
