I stopped in to Jim Dandy as I was on my way to Indianapolis after visiting family in Noblesville. This restaurant had an old time feel and actually it started as a drive-in back in the 50's or 60's. What I loved is the atmosphere, the people, and the food. It is nothing super fancy, but for a nice meal and great service, this is the place to go. I had a JD burger and fries. similar to a Big Mac but WAY WAY better. Our serve was super friendly and suggested a slice of pie, so of course I had to oblige. MMMMMMM. Everyone should stop in, have a meal and talk to the many locals that frequent here. Everyone was amazing. I can't wait to come back!

We decided on Jim Dandy today because there used to be several of these across the state and I actually worked at the one that used to be in my hometown when I was in highschool many years ago. I did not realize that there were stil a couple left. It was a really good experience. Walking into the oldtime diner feel was so fun. There were men sitting at the coffee bar talking and drinking their coffee. The decor was very reminiscent of the 70s diner feel. Our server greeted us right as we sat down. The menu was a trifold menu withh all of the favorites that I remembered. My children and I often ate at the one in my hometown when they were little and it just took me back to that time. There is something to be said for not changing! They still offered fried chicken, meatloaf, and my favorite Jimbo sandwich. I was also surprised that they still offered and 80s favorite, "the salad bar"! The service was great all of the workers we interacted with were friendly and helpful, and the food was hot and prompt. Great environment, service, and food! The prices were also reasonable. We will be back! Keep up the good work!

We have been here for breakfast and dinner. The place is usually pretty busy, but we usually get seated right away. The breakfast menu is limited and they have a buffet you can choose as well. The buffet is hit or miss. The eggs are bland, the biscuits are hard, and so are the French toast sticks. There also isn’t a wide variety of food. Now onto dinner…. They have a dinner buffet a few days a week. It is a limited selection and often they run out of food fast. The fried chicken is decent, but they always manage to overcook the fried fish. The mashed potatoes are instant and pasty. I usually order the Jim dandy cheeseburger with a side of crinkle fries. It’s a good choice if your in the mood for a messy burger. It’s a double patty with a bun in between the sandwich. The bun is usually soaked in grease so I take it off. They also put a white mayonnaise like sauce on it that has a good flavor. The fries are usually good. They come out hot and aren’t overcooked. The sweet tea is pretty good, good flavor and isn’t too sweet. The servers are usually friendly and are great with my son. They bring him a coloring page with crayons and sometimes even a balloon.

Breakfast buffet is great! Fried mush, B&G, bacon… lots of bacon. Sundays they skip the mush and have fried chicken and some lunch stuff on the hot table. The salad bar is open too.. I like big boys eggs better.. but this is really good!

We have never had bad service or food here!!! Staff is always so friendly and the food is yuuum too!!!

First time visiting. Food was delicious, hot, and fresh. Great salad bar and dinner buffet. Fried chicken was excellent. Desserts were homemade and also very good. Service was also excellent. Great place!

Nice low key family restaurant. We have been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Always treated well and gotten good food. They were especially kind to the grandkids at Halloween.

The breakfast bar is great! I mean how can you go wrong with all you can eat bacon?

We have the best server there. Her name is Shirley. We love her dearly

It's a little restaurant with good service and food, especially the pork tenderloin.
