It was not a pleasant experience at this Chinese restaurant you would expect. The first time I went here the lady that took orders was very nasty and rude. The second time I went to get lunch there is a chef there that was very nasty. He was coughing, wiping his nose(think he got a cold) and did not sanitize his hands when he left the bathroom. He went straight into the kitchen cooking. I found hair in my food multiple times which was very disgusting for a Chinese restaurant that serve food to customer. They wear no hair net when prepping your food. Feeding my toddler and happen to see this short hair in my food again. Will not return to this restaurant.
I really enjoy this restaurant. It's home style Chinese food like my neighbor's mom used to make. The ingredients are fresh and the recipes are straight forward and clean. I pass SIX other places to get here. The Mapo Tofu and Pad Thai are the best.Originally, I'm from Chicago and have eaten lots of ethnic cuisine. Simple, not greasy and flavorful instead of salty.
Unfortunately google won’t allow a 0. Lady taking the order was rude. I sat at a table and waited for our order only to observe her wiping her nose with her hand. (Imagine a toddler with full open hand wiping their nose from fingertips to wrist ?) The man cooking was coughing, mouth open, over the food he was cooking. To add to the delightful display, after he coughed over the food, he gagged and snorted as if he was trying to hock up a loogie. Stay clear of this cesspool
I had 6-10 amazing orders from this location during the pandemic. We always order the same meals for our family. I was so excited to go back today but was disappointed. My egg drop soup tasted charred and burnt… which I’m still trying to understand. My husbands chicken was mediocre and the staff was 1000% more unpleasant than usual. Less than personable service was fine while the food was still delightful. Gosh! I’m so disappointed. Not spending any more money here.
The general tso chicken taste like the sauce was made last year and sat out ever since. We had to toss all of the food (after one bite) in the trash because it tasted like it was expired; it all left a horrible after taste. This is the worse I have ever tried.
They cooked for me different order. Taste only salty. No nice Chinese food flavor. Will never return

I ordered the other night fried chicken fried rice and kunpowder chicken. For me and my CO worker and as my coworker was eating her chicken fried rice she found a piece of metal in it. I called great taste and they didn't seem to care He said things happen. So please be careful when you order from the food it could have made my coworker bleed out If she did not catch it.
The lady I placed the order with in person was extremely rude and she charged me more than the menu price which she claimed the menu provided wasn’t wasn’t up to date. The fried rice I ordered didn’t taste fresh at all. What a waste of money.
This is our go to Chinese takeout. We usually order take out about every other week.
