My friends and I have been here many times, for many occasions. The food is always hot, fresh and they have yet to mess up an order. However, I would LOVE it if they gave you time to finish your appetizer (or even receive it!) prior to your meal arriving. That's really my only complaint. They usually arrive at the same time, or they bring the appetizer AFTER your meal has arrived, which is super annoying. We love the Margaritas! The pitchers can sometimes be watered down, or contain too much margarita mix, but if you let them know, they'll correct it! Service is generally very quick. During peak times, it can be very difficult to find/catch your server if you need something, but they all seem to work hard. They always use "Senorita/Senor" to address people - I get it, they're trying to make it feel "authentic." But because one of our friends wears a hat from chemo hair loss, they always call HER "Senor." She's already self conscious about her appearance, so maybe drop the pronouns, or pay attention - not all women have long hair, and not all men have short hair and some people have NO hair. As often as we've been there and corrected them, I feel bad for her! A few minor improvements and it would be 5 stars,
I have been here several times. I used to love this place! I am not sure if management has changed or what has happened. The past 3 times of eating here, I am getting very sick afterwards like food poisoning. I will not be back. I really enjoyed your establishment for a long time but things are not clean, and with getting food poisoning every time I decide to give you another shot, I am done. Employee's are very friendly however cleanliness has obviously become an issue. When Covid was around you cleaned and kept things up to par, now it's like you went 100% the opposite direction. You will continue to lose great customers due to this issue. Hopefully this review will be a wake up call and something will change.
My go to Mexican restaurant! I love their ultimate Margaritas. Definitely try their chorizo queso, it's so delicious and rich.
The beef in the Chile Colorado was disgusting. Boiled, Gristly flap meat. Not chunks of stewed beef. The pork in the chile verde was phenomenal. The chile verde sauce seemed less than authentic.
We order take out an average of 3 times per month. Food is always good, hot, and fresh.
We eat Herr two times every week, so that should tell you their food is wonderful! Try it! Support local!
Good food and good beers! Great selection of Mexican food options and always really speedy. I'm a fan of the big draft beers, always Dos Equis Amber for me
The food was below average. The rice tasted like bag rice that was frozen. The guy that was with me ordered a bean burrito with rice and onions inside. They told us, they wouldn't make it like that. Sad, because I have ate at one of there other restaurants around Whiteland and it was really good. Their is a bunch of other Mexican restaurants around there. I would go to one of them instead.
We've been going to El Rodeo for years. The food is almost always delicious. The service is almost always great. Over the years there have been instances where the food and service haven't been as good but it's very rare. Everyone and every place has the occasional off day. 98/100 this place will have excellent food and excellent service. There's a reason we keep coming here. Also, the El Rodeo in Franklin Township is also very good! All El Rodeos have been very good in my experience.Dish recommendations:For the people that like it spicy - Pollo A La DiablaFajitas Cozumel or Fajitas De CarnitasFajita Taco SaladArroz TexanoYou really can't go wrong with these choices!
Been along time since I've seen my friends at El Rodeo due to the virus situation. Great food , salsa, drinks, and meeting up with my friends there.
