Staff got into a verbal argument with a customer. They need customer service training. Our waitress was excellent . Some of the staff walked out while there were customers and left one person to do everything. Screaming and cussing at customers is not a very pleasant atmosphere. If my grandkids would have been with me, I would have left.
Me and my family stop in around 4pm Tuesday after we place our orders a few minutes went by didn't get our drinks looked over the waitress was sitting at another table eating and talking on her cell phone, we was the only customers inside at the time we waited for another few minutes and noticed the cook was eating bacon off the grill while our food was on the grill cooking he was eating over everyones food its a very nasty place and very disgusting people working there.STAY AWAY!
I don't like to talk down on places but I felt like the cook messed up our food on purpose the scrambled eggs wasn't scrambled the bacon was half cooked an half-burnt. The server said she didn't want to do dishes so we had to eat out of plastic to-go plates but the people that just left out of regular plates and the people just coming in was able to eat out of regular plates..If I could give a -5 star I would
The best Waffle House in all of Southern Indiana! Best place to find that southern hospitality with some nice fresh food along with it. Lil Bit (server) and Dee (cook) will make sure you're well taken care of as I'm sure most of the others will as well. Normally, the eggs at most Waffle Houses taste bland, but Dee definitely knows how to make them nice and fluffy. I'm definitely gonna be a regular as much as possible.
it was dirty.. There was food and dirty napkins under my table and there was one server that was clearly high she was yelling the whole time, the food was actually not bad, and the server that waited on us wasn’t bad.. just wasn’t clean.
Really homely place if you prefer your servers to be higher than groceries. Comfortable atmosphere if you like hearing gunshots in the neighborhood and a wonderful place if you like the suspense of not knowing your catalytic converter is going to be on your car when you return to the parking lot. Only giving 4 stars cause the servers weren’t packin. Stay strapped or get clapped
Think I go to waffles to much. But damn. I love it. Where else can you get almost anything to eat anytime of the day. Love me some house of waffles
It was disgustingly dirty, the 2 waitresses working were fighting, 1 of the waitresses said she was puking and sick, the other waitress was twirling her long hair right where the cook was cooking our food. Our drinks had dried milk on the cup and there were sesame seeds in the tea. It took over 45 mins to get our food and when she brought our food out it was completely wrong!! We felt like we needed a shot of penicillin & a tetanus shot after we left. It was a joke!
The negative aspect of our visit began as soon as walking through the door, when the cook Dee called out to my wife and I: “We’re not taking any more done in at this time.” (Which is prominent being that Covid is still going on) I said “oh, ok” and began to back out of the door way. He then began laughing and said “I’m just kidding this is Waffle House!” Before pointing out the disappointed look on my wife face to everyone in the restaurant. Unamused and slightly embarrassed we sat down. Other than that, the restaurant was as dirty and loud as usual, and the waitresses were as friendly as usual. If I had any more time to think about it I would’ve left despite learning he was just joking.
I am here now for carry out. The man is on by himself and 1st shift is not helping him out at all. He had 2 tables come in and 2 carryouts. Same time. No one will help.
