It was like going back in time...the atmosphere is like a small town restaurant where all the locals eat (i was there for breakfast on a wednesday morning). I had pancakes which were huge and tasted like grandmaw's...had those crunchy bits of meat from the grill cooked in...which gave it its homey flavor. The coffee had great flavor too and the staff kept it topoed offf which is awesome. All this and a side of crunchy bacon for $11.11. Tip: Do not be in a hurry here...its not that kinda place...real laid back and no loud music blasting over tthe table just cheerful chatter in the background. I love my first time there.
Went here for lunch on a recommendation from my daughter. What a stark contrast from her experience. Our initial waitress was unfriendly and inattentive we had to wait 5 min and ask twice to get creamer for our 1st cup of coffee. By that time it was lukewarm. Never came back to refillAfter asking for creamer a 2nd time that is when they switched our waitresses. Food was bland and when we told them the food was ok at check out, they did ask what the issude was, did not seem to care. There might have been a total of 6 table being waited on while we were there and 2 waitresses on duty. I don't understand the terrible service, food and attitude.
Meat is overpriced for what you get, and service was annoying and obnoxious. Server was rude and not helpful. Will never come back.
If your not a regular from New Albany or at this restaurant then expect to wait awhile to take your order.Don’t get me wrong I love a family restaurant but it took over 15 minutes to take our order after 5 workers pass us up to clean or seat people. A lot of hugging at this restaurant Wear a mask people
Nice restaurant, good food, nice waitresses, good prices. Would come back again. I had their breakfast and it was great.
Always Yummy!!! Love this place and the food is fantastic!!! However.... they are ALWAYS ALWAYS short staffed! No matter what location you go to. I understand, due to covid almost every business these days are. It does however make it pretty frustrating sometimes as a customer, but I can only imagine what the 1 or 2 servers they have on duty are going through. Still... I recommend trying them out!!
I have been coming here since I was a child, worlds best French Toast to me! Great family atmosphere, small town feel, and great prices.
Almost the worst breakfast I ever had was not happy won't be back waitress was a smart I like to my brother too that didn't have anything to do with the bad food.
Biscuits were horrible and had a weird taste, eggs were good, bacon was not nearly done, so sorry we will try it again much later, not being mean only honest
So I'm hungry in Indiana. I saw A Nice Restaurant from the road and opted to give them a try. The good was superb. I had steak and eggs. The steak was cooked just rightThe decor is nice. Our waitress Sheila was awesome. I highly recommend this restaurant Highly!!!!!! With good like this and a waitress like Sheila they will most certainly be c in business for a long time.
