Our meals were delicious. I had spaghetti with shrimp and my husband had fettuccine with beef. Both entrees were served hot and in a timely manner. Our cocktails were also perfect and priced very reasonably. We love this restaurant, the food, and the atmosphere.

Birthday celebration. We come to Vera Mae's every couple of months - we have a "regular" table, Carlos's drinks are always on point, and we love visiting with Kent! Darrell's service was excellent - his wine recommendation was perfect for my dish, and he provided the perfect combination of attention and privacy. Our meals - the evening specials - were quite the treat, especially the snapper. The Chef obviously works hard with the purveyors to get the best possible ingredients. Vera Mae's is a perfect spot for a romantic date or special occasion - or just for dessert and drinks! GO!

Great Saturday evening with my mother. It has been a few years since we have been at Vera Maeâs. Great snapper special this evening. I enjoyed the sweet potato pie soupâoutstanding! The crab cake was forgettable. Dessert and drinks were just what we needed. Our waiter was the right amount of attentive. We will come back here.

Always satisfied with food. Owners are beautiful people whom I consider friends. Our ONLY issue was the iced tea concoction (that I suspect is peculiar to VM). I don't drink it at all. My wife likes it unsweetened with NO lemon. Her order was not to her liking. That said, it was not critical to our dining experience. Love VM, Kent, Steve, and staff. Always a pleasure!
