So service was a solid 4 stars and the only reason it received 2 stars not 1. However the level of care taken in food preparation was pathetic. We ordered honey bbq wings and beer cheese pretzels to start. Wings way overcooked and just drowned in a bottle of cheap bbq sauce. Pretzels on the verge of being burnt with just a splash of cheese in a bowl. The prime rib dipper was okay at best wasn't so much a sandwich as just meat hazardly thrown on a piece of bread with onions. Won't ever be back
Awful place! Waiters and waitresses are not doing their job, rather, talking and ignoring guests. The night manager is a joke. He doesn't care that his customers are treated disrespectfully, doesn't apologize and is extremely smug. The place was nearly empty and we had to seat ourselves. The male waiter tried lying about the female waitress being busy and I called him out on it so he refuses to wait on us. The manager came over and was rude, arrogant and just seemed like he hated life in general. So we left before we ordered. Went to IHOP, they only had 1 waitress and we got great customer service! Applebee's, you lost a few customers!!
We walked into Applebee's and seated quickly, due to the fact they were rather empty. However we sat for 30 minutes and still no one had come to even take our drink order. Due to having an empty restaurant and staff on their phones we decided to leave.
Apple bees has the best food and we go after church every Sunday. Usually there is anywhere from 5 to 9 people in our group. The prices are great and the service is also good.
Waiter was okay, but our dining was rushed. 10 minutes after we received our appetizers, our dinner was brought to our table. One of our party was given the wrong food. We purchased alcohol and we had to wait on the drinks. The food was mediocre. We had to ask for napkins and plates for our appetizer. Wait time was minimal. We ended up taking our food home.
This is the first time in a very long time I got a chance to eat at Applebee's. We shared the spinach dip appetizer and it was really good altho I would rather have it in a bread bowl or pieces of some kind of bread plus the chips maybe to dip into the spinach dip. I thought the chips did not do the dip justice as to it's flavor. We also wanted to try one of the new bowls that Applebee's has out so besides our own entrees we shared the Orange Chicken bowl. It was pretty good especially the chicken the orange sauce on the chicken was excellent. I had a dish with blackened shrimp and chicken it was really good and I had the garlic mashed potatoes for one of my sides and they were very tasty
Met my best friend and her Mom to celebrate my birthday. We shared many appetizers. I also tried the new Strawberry margarita with the 'Rock's' tequila! A great day!
Get home to find out. They left out 1 of our complete meals. Live to far to run back out there. Called Manager he sent a $15 gift card to my email. Now I’ve got to get my printer hooked up just to print this. Very nice of him. However, it doesn’t hurt employees to double check orders.
I'll give Applebee's credit it when it's due. Yes the chain is underwhelming. Here's the deal: I ordered through the app, and specified a pick-up time several hours in advance. My order was ready when I arrived as I was greeted by a friendly server. Yes, the food was generic, it was also hot and the order was accurate - which are my key measurements for chains.
