Went in late on Saturday for dinner. It was amazing. It's a little pricy BUT reasonable and for the quality you get it's more than justifiable. A friendly tip is on the sushi roll page, the most expensive rolls are on the top and the cheaper ones on the bottom. I HIGHLY recommend the whitefish spicy maki roll. It wasn't at all fishy but smooth and creamy, at least to me.
Why have I not eaten here sooner? Met my mom here for lunch. She loves the Bento Box! I had rice with veggies and shrimp. It came with a flat, round scrambled egg on top. I usually salt and pepper everything, but this was not needed. I'm so excited to go back! Beat restaurant of its kind in the area!
Best seaweed salad & miso soup ever. Bento box was great, everything flavored well and cooked perfectly. Service was a bit slow but still great and even apologized for the wait. Very great place! Highly recommend!
This is my worst restaurant experience. Dishes served sooo slowly, and the flavors are not good. This is my first time to know that vegetable tempura could be shredded chips, not whole pieces, the sauce for tempera is soooo salty. I ordered two rolls, one has too much rice, the other one has too eel sauce which made the roll very salty. It makes me very disappointed that I spent more money to have the worst meal.
Had big huge everything platter. Was great was worth it. Soup was great salad was great date was great. Been coming here for 30 years. Always great.
Been going here for years, and it has one of the best maki sushi rolls. Instead of having blended fish to mask the quality of fish like many restaurants in the area, this place just use chunks of the sushi fish, which is fantastic! And the price is cheaper than the other restaurants and better quality. Highly recommend!

I really enjoy dining at Toyo grill, very rarely am I dissatisfied or disappointed when it comes down to quality or quantity. I was very surprised at the size of their rolls and their lunch plates which I considered to be very generous with portions are very well paired with different dishes from the menu.the only reason I rated it four stars instead of five was because of maybe one to two times that I got food from them (through a delivery dining service) was the food a little dry. I had gotten the teriyaki chicken with a California crunch roll, the chicken was a little dry and the crunch roll was a little soggy.... but sometimes that is to be expected when using a non-affiliated food delivery service, so I didn't hold it against them.?? overall it's a very good dining experience if you would like to explore the very colorful and palatable Japanese and Korean cuisine made here locally in Mishawaka Indiana.Hey everyone thanks for taking the time to read my food review!!
