Pizza is usually on point, staff is friendly. Seems a little short staffed at times, and always a new face whenever I go in. Would give 5 stars, but their closing time is a bit sporadic.
We have always liked Marco's Pizza. We use to order delivery and the food was always great. Since moving, we are now out of the delivery area and hadn't ordered in years. Our friends recently brought over subs and calzones from Marco's and we were reminded again of how great the food is. My husband and I decided to order some pizza on a recent Friday evening. We placed the order online and were told our order would be ready in an hour. I thought that was a lot of time for a pickup order but understand places being understaffed. I left a little late to give them extra time and got to Marco's about fifteen minutes after our promised time for pick up. When I arrived, there were others waiting in the lobby that had already been helped so I went to the front and waited. It was at least five minutes before anyone acknowledged me. One of the delivery drivers came up and asked for my name. She said that my order wasn't ready yet and that it would be ready in fifteen minutes. I didn't think much of that. I knew they were busy. So, I went back to my car and waited. Twenty minutes later, I went back in and waited again in the lobby. This time, the guy that was originally making the pizzas when I came in was now helping customers up front. Another five + minutes of waiting and he asked for my name. I told him and he said it would be another fifteen minutes. I was frustrated but thought, I had already waited almost thirty minutes past the promised hour at this point so what is another fifteen minutes. I wait in the lobby this time. Another fifteen minutes goes by. Now another employee is up front trying to keep customers happy and handle the delays. He asks my name, I tell him. He says my order hasn't been made yet but should be coming up soon. Maybe another fifteen minutes. At this point, we were pushing two hours. One hour originally quoted and another hour of me sitting there waiting, very patiently. The guy that was helping me was very nice and trying to make things right. I asked him if they hadn't started my order yet, I would like to cancel and get a refund. He said it hadn't been started and that he would cancel it and I wouldn't be charged. While he is talking to me, the lady in the back helping to make the pizza [blond short hair] starts to get mouthy with the guy helping me, asking what he is doing and telling him to stop interfering with the orders. I had tried to ask her if there was an issue with me canceling but she talked over me and refused to let me get a word in. I asked if she wanted to keep my order and she told me I had cancelled it so I would need to place a new order. I told the guy helping me to forget it and walked out with no pizza and two hours of my night wasted. The lady in the back was rude and disrespectful to me and to the guy helping me. He was the only one being honest about the orders. Had they told me when I walked in that it would be another hour wait, I would have understood and asked they cancel my order then. I understand that so many places are understaffed right now and I have always been understanding and polite anytime I order out [which is super rare]. A little honestly and respect goes a long way. Very disappointed in my experience here and won't be returning.
Their prices are a little high...its decent pizza tho...Brunos Pizza isn't far away and they are pretty much the same price, but Bruno's puts Marco's to shame...
Ordered pizza and cheesy bread for pickup, was told 30 minutes. 45 minutes later they haven't even started making my food. Very disappointed, usually very good service.
Normally I would put 1 star, but 2 times that they did mess up (each consecutively on different days) I was given a 50% off coupon for the troubles. But the last time I went, not only was food not done (did carryout and was estimated 14 minutes, took actually 51 minutes), my food was skipped (on accident) and they were short stuffed (with 5 people in the kitchen). Couldn't enjoy my food bc it was my lunch time and I got back to work late and couldn't eat til I was off. 3 times in 3 days messing up...it's no wonder they have went through 3 store managers in a year. Luckily their food is delicious. And when made it is done right. Drivers just forget stuff sometimes and time management seems to be a problem.
Ordered Med.pizza with light sauce and wings. I got light cheese and it was hard as a rock, wings were burnt. Tried calling and was on hold for almost 10 min.
Recent changes to operations made the ordering process very frustrating. They cancel orders right after they are placed but send no notification in app/email. You can’t speak to anyone at the store to find out why due to their automated phone message.If your store is not open or unable to take more orders, then why not disable online ordering?
Just tried placing an order for delivery at 10pm...open until 1AM...but says I can't get get delivery. I was excited they actually had chicken for the chicken sandwich...even tho I can order chicken on pizza...cuz they don't have ingredients for the sandwich...not like they're out of sub rolls...cuz u can order any other sub
Great service and fast service and the driver always makes sure I retrieve my order before she or he leaves.
Pizza was wrong, didn't want to wait 30 more minutes ,got money back
