Staffing is an issue like many businesses. This did not have a negative impact on my rating since they only sat people they could serve. We had 2 Wait Staff including a very nice Trainee. They were very nice until the end of our meal. Both dishs were tastless. The New Orleans Style Pasta contained 5 shrimp, 2 slices of sausage and some mistery meat was not eatable. When I told the supervising wait staff, she got very defensive. "Well that dish only comes with 5 shrimp". When she brought the bill, they deleted the fish.
Sat at the bar. We ordered a couple of apps. My soda was forgotten until we were almost done, and appeared with ice instead of without. The chicken tenders were surprisingly good! Crisp, meaty, and warm throughout. Spinach dip was all right. Cheese Balls pretty good, and a huge serving.I would go back and try the mashed potatoes and broccoli with chicken tenders or maybe a small steak. I peeked at the diners' plates next to me; that's what they ordered, and it looked good.
After being seated, I was greeted by this amazing honey-butter slathered croissant. Waitress was great and brought me my drink and quickly took my order of coconut shrimp. The sauce they bring for dipping the shrimp was sweet and tasty, but I also should have asked for some cocktail sauce. Fries and Cole slaw were good. Nice little atmosphere. Service was fast. Would definitely come back for more croissant.
They need to do more hiring apparently. The wait is 25 min to 1 hour with barely anyone even waiting and multiple empty tables. The service and food were good. Our waitress was in training. She was doing her best.
Waitress was very good, very helpful and VERY patient!!! Food was really good to boot, not to shabby dinner experience.. Not too often ALL goes good. Bar tender was rude when we first walked in but we did not have to deal with her!! Long blonde haired Waitress was GREAT!! Thank you... for her....
The chicken and cheese curds were really good. Fries were not great, something was off. It took like 20mins for a waiter to show up and take our order but they apologized and brought free bread and butter. Overall good experience.
We had a 10 minute wait on a Friday night. Amazing. We were seated in the bar area, no biggie. Our waitress was phenomenal, quick with drinks. Appetizers and food took alittle longer but she was apologized for the delay. We were having a nice conversation and didn't mind at all
This was our third visit to the Cheddars in as many months. Each time the food was very good and as consistent as the last time we ordered the same. Our wait was about 20 minutes which seemed reasonable for the tine we arrived, 1250. We has specified a table and we understood again that would require at wait. No problem with that at all. Our server Laura, was very pleasant and attentive, and made us feel welcome and comfortable. We would recommend the spinach dip, ask for extra salsa too. The grilled white fish and the salmon, both were prepared and presented very well. All in all this was a nice lunch an d we will be back when in the area for sure!
I went there with my wife and 3 daughters to use some Xmas gift cards and was met with with an utter lack any kind of hospitality. A hostess should greet you and not stare at you while waiting for you to say you would like a table. I was then told it would be a half an hour to 45 minutes. After 45 minutes I went inside to wait the remainder and was told there was 5 other tables before me still. Thats when I overheard her tell some one else they had 5 servers out of 22 working that night. So I waited patiently right in front of the hostess who could not bother to announce my table was ready after I didn't respond to the text message. Complete ineptitude from the 3 hostesses, especially the oldest one who didn't move from her spot the entire time I sat there waiting
Food was great. The mesl was prepared quickly. The "SERVICE" was not so good.was not friendly, didn't acknowledge my presence and I needed to ask if I can order a drink or foid when she was ready. My tip was still generous, but not deserving.Workers should realize that most people are very grateful to be served. But with a smile even when they day is tough.- The extra income...tip...will be so much better.
