We found this place while traveling back to Michigan from Chicago, after seeing a billboard on the highway. Walked in and was immediately blown away by the atmosphere. It was beautiful! The 21 and over age limit made for a peaceful dinner. Our server made great recommendations after we mentioned we had never been there before, and the ribs (and all of the food) were out of this world. I don't know who Patrick is, but he's got a heck of a place! We will definitely be back every time we pass through.
I am giving this place a good rating for many reasons❤️ Such a great atmosphere and the food was superb! …. However, if I did choose to rate the restaurant as a whole based off of our experience and service… it’d sadly be ?? I called ahead of time to make reservations (which were happily accommodated) and was asked if there was a special occasion… which my answer was yes, “it’s my birthday!” The gentlemen who helped was so sweet and made me feel excited about coming to celebrate at their restaurant ? … unfortunately here comes the disappointing part…. Our server kept asking about the other person who hadn’t arrived (which we kept reminding her it’d be any minute). We did mention that we had to leave once we were done eating because we had more bday festivities to attend to,but no worries because we were definitely there to eat! ? She never asked us if we wanted appetizers… I had to actually ask her and she was pretty much walking away as we were ordering them. Came back, got our entree orders. Brought them out, but never brought out the apps ??♀️ when I asked about them she said she forgot. (It’s okay, stuff happens)… Brought out the apps…. Aaaaand that was it. She disappeared. We were trying to finish up eating and needing boxes to pack up leftovers. But we waited aaand waited. We were really hoping we could order a dessert to you know, celebrate, but nope. When she did show back up… it was again mentioned it was my birthday and that we did want dessert but would just take it to go. There were no apologies, no happy birthday, nothing. The only thing that was acknowledged, was that a person in our party was running late and apparently it was the paying guests fault for the lack of service. ****I would love to come back and enjoy the great food we had again! And would definitely love to recommend this restaurant to others… Let’s just hope the service is better next time ?
Ate there for the first time yesterday and wasn't disappointed. Food and drink was very good. We will definitely will be back!
I’ve been here to eat now 4 times before I gave a review. I’m very skeptical about NWI restaurants because (they’re not gonna like reading this) they don’t adhere to the same high quality standards one gets when say eating in a major city. The big city joints have to prove themselves constantly or risk dying. That said, this place cares about quality and service. No big heavy meals that can feed 2 off 1 plate. Very flavorful plates, excellent bar drink choices and they are generous with their wine and drinks. It’s now my go-to place for a well made delicious meal in Michigan City. I had the 12oz ribeye, a salad and fresh warm bread and butter with a glass of Merlot before my meal that set me right. Steak was tender and cooked excellently rare and their rub and horseradish sauce for the steak was just right. My compliments to the Chef. These folks know how to treat their customers and I’ll be back because of it.
Ate here for the first time on Saturday. Service was a bit slow but the food was great! Had the prime rib special which was huge! Very delicious. Will definitely go again.
It was wonderful for our 1 year anniversary of our first date. We had the flaming cheese. Everything was very good with good presentation.
Outstanding food, service, and a talented bartender.Must have the Lobster Bisque!

I was so happy to be able to enjoy and evening with family.. in a perfect atmosphere with a wonderful full meal great service and didn't break the bank. . Will be returning soon.
Very slow service to get waited on and slow service getting the food to the table. The steak was good but we ordered the flaming cheese and she lit it where some of us couldn't see it. Wont be going back anytime soon. Very disappointed ?
