Absolutely phenomenal. My girlfriend and I ate here twice and every sandwich blew us away. The prices were definitely affordable, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the owner - I didn't catch her name - was extremely welcoming and helpful. We will DEFINITELY be back. I'd drive from the Chicago suburbs simply to eat here again. Keep up the great, delicious work! :)
Excellent food and service. The portions were large and the prices were reasonable. Also there is a large selection of salads, sandwiches, and some pasta and other dishes. I would recommend eating at Panini Panini. One thing that I would advise: park on the street if you have a big vehicle or have issues turning around in small spaces. The restaurants parking is tight and limited and only one way in/out.
Was here with my friend Kirstie for the weekend from St. Louis and stopped here twice! The staff was wonderful and the food was amazing. The desserts in their case were all homemade and to die for. Everything feels like it was made with love. HIGHLY RECOMMEND:) Ashley and Sabine were so sweet to us.
Such a fun place to stop for lunch! Great vegetarian options. My husband and I loved the Caprese sandwich and the California sandwich. The staff was kind, the atmosphere was lovely, and they also offered a great selection of desserts! We will definitely be returning!
This place was a hidden gem - sandwiches were delicious and the cheesecake was a must! Service was very friendly. The owner is from Belgium and France. Highly recommend for lunch!
Loved the food and friendly service! Kids and adults were happy with the food. Adults had vegetarian sandwiches, very flavorful and fresh. The side salad and fruit were small but delicious. Kids got a burger and roast pork sandwich. They enjoyed and them very much. The desserts are a must try if you eat here. The Flourless Chocolate Cake and Carrot Cake are some of the best version of these desserts I've ever had.
This place is truly a great find--wish I lived nearby! I had the grilled scallops sandwich with prosciutto, sliced pear & goat cheese. It was delicious! it came with a good sized side sald. I also noticed the entree salads--they were huge and looked amazing! They had a number of French desserts. We had the lemon tarte, which was fantastic!
Food is beyond delicious, staff members are super friendly, menu is huge! No idea how it is 4.8 starts and how people can complain about prices, it’s not a fast food chain, it’s family owned, freshly made food from quality ingredients. Ate there 2 days in a row and every time I come back to Michigan City will definitely be back.

Wonderful lunch spot! Fantastic sandwich selections, along with exceptional salads! And they have beer to wash it all down! This is a must stop place! We will be back.
