Everytime I go which is mostly in the mornings, either my order is wrong or staff is cursing and talking about their boyfriend or outside life loud enough for everyone to hear even in the drive thru. There's one in particular that I guess is one of the managers, she's good for yelling and just talking loud and inappropriate to other staff. I only go if there's nothing else open on my way to work. Otherwise I don't recommend this place
This is a great place weather you go at 7am or 11:30. This place has a great staff with friendly faces and wonderful personalities. There are especially a few that would like to mention. A wonderful beautiful woman inside and out Dawn who works mornings always brightens my day and a couple men who work night who always have a smile on their faces and they talk to you they dont just hand you your food and send you on your way. Plus they never have a broke down machine for mcflurries and shakes (well of course if something does happen but it never has been when I have been there) anyways I always leave here with a smile and for that reason this is my #1 Mcdonalds
I have had problems with all 3 Michigan City branches getting my order right within a week. Twice I gave my order for a double filet-o-fish without tartar sauce and each time I got one with tartar sauce. Then this morning on my way to work I ordered breakfast. A Sausage Mcmuffin with egg meal with a caramel macchiato. I got just a sandwich and a small coffee. I think I will take a break from McDonald's food until they can train their crew people how to do their job. I have also noticed that the crew in all stores need lessons on how to treat customers because many of them are very rude. And whatt t is up with Franklin Street mcDonalds not opening their Lobby.
I don't know what happened to their food they make me feel like I'm eating a very expensive happy meal that don't really fill me or my kids up.
Food was bleh. Stale buns and off temp meat. Coke was weird tasting. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE YOU LEAVE, THEY OVERCHARGE!!! (I mean assuming you ignore everyone saying the food is bad and still eat here, at least don't pay more than you have to for food poisoning)
Well, I see already that this location has appalling reviews, so let's go ahead and add one.I stopped here to get a couple McMuffins and a smoothie. Simple order. There were minimal cars in the drive thru. I put in a mobile order, paid online, went to the speaker to check-in, no problem, went to the first window, my card was billed for $6 (verified by Chase), went to the second window, and the woman told me that I had to wait in a spot (for two McMuffins and a smoothie. At an empty store. At 7:20 in the morning.)After waiting five minutes (again, for two McMuffins and a smoothie), this belligerent black woman came out and accused me of not paying for my order. I showed her my digital receipt AND my email from Chase, and she said "there's nothing I can do, you didn't pay". With CLEAR EVIDENCE IN FRONT OF HER. When I told her what my order was, she said "You didn't pay for it, there's nothing I can do".So effectively, if you like handing money to this restaurant, and getting nothing in return, stop here for nothing. Because they will steal from you. And then accuse you of stealing from them.

I have come in everyday for a week and they can not get orders right and sat at curbside for 1 hour had to go in and complain to get correct food and it still was not made right will never go to this location again
Lately three people in the drive thru have been very friendly! The food is hot and fresh. I'm pleased with this location and the employees that show up for work. Thank you for doing what you do.
