The time before this one wasn't a good experience. I was hesitant to go back because of it. This time was amazing. The waitress was tentative, nice and made sure drinks were refilled without me having to ask. She also made sure everything needed was brought out with the food. The food was hot, fresh and cooked exactly how we had asked for it to be.
This morning my sister ate here. She ordered the country fried steak meal and when she got towards the middle of her meal she noticed there was a FRIED FLY on her plate. When she reported it to the manager, he stated that they do not have incident reports and he would just credit the bill. It had absolutely nothing to do with getting free food. She pleaded for an incident report for their records & hers.I have to worked in the food industry and even the smallest of food chains are required to fill out incident reports at customers requests.He also attempted to refuse to give her a receipt because she didn’t pay for the food. She demanded a receipt As proof of her dining there.She felt completely disregarded and he brushed her off as if she didn’t matter. He even told her “well we didn’t intentionally put a fly on your plate” as if that’s the underlying issue here.We are completely disgusted and will no longer utilize their establishment.
First, they are too expensive. Pancakes shouldn't cost so much. Second, the waitress took our order, dropped off our food and never even looked our way again while waiting on other tables. The manager, an extremely nice man mired in an obvious hiring crises, took notice and handled our check and payment. All too common these days. Plenty of business, not enough good help.
While in Michigan City we visited this IHOP. We had a large party of 15 and arrived with no "warning".We were seated within minutes. Placed our drink orders, and waited. It took 15 minutes to get the drink orders. Then immediately had our meal orders taken. With as many people as we had, the food came pretty quickly. I was impressed. I did have to specifically ask for a refill, instead of having it noticed. But again...large party.All in all, the food and service were pretty good. Restaurant was pretty clean. Stopped for pancakes to go,but stayed for Breakfast. Server Vicki was very attentive, restaurant was very busy. Vicki did a excellent job of taking care of everyone!
So good!! Our waitress was amazing n was right on top of us getting drinks. And our food was out within minutes. Really had a good time here. And there great with kids. So that was a biggie for me ❤️
If you gotta read reviews about IHOP. You really need to just go. All of there menu choices are amazing. Staff always pleasant and a great atmosphere. A place the whole family will love.
Went to breakfast for my 61st B~Day. It was good. We had a Great waitress ! Their omelets looked good. (Someone else had it at another table) lol
It was good, they seemed to have changed the pancake recipe and the assortment of syrups were not offered. Very good wait staff, food was served well.
Built my own omelet and it didn't disappoint! I'm also a big fan of their coffee here. Initial service was delayed (for drink order) but after that was all good. Food came out quick and hot! Ther was a small order goof up, but got a side of toast to make up for it!
