Visiting from out of state and was looking for a quality, locally roasted coffee. We had a cortado, Rawandan pour over and a few cold brews and loved every drink. Amazing balance between espresso, milk and flavors.
Had the best iced coffee of my life! Got the Lemon Love - truly I’ll never forget how delicious it was. The shop was so cute and comfy. Awesome vibes!
Fantastic shop! The best matcha latte I've ever had. My husband loved his coffee latte too. We buy local small roaster coffee as we travel the country and this was the spot. We hadn't been able to find good beans across 3 states. We're stocked up now!
Lovely café! I've been to both of the valpo locations of Fluid and loved them, and the Michigan City location is just as nice. I especially like the hallway hangout in this location, and the decorations. It's almost like a hip office space that showcases the personality of the owner. As for the coffee, it's arguably the best specialty coffee in the midwest. If you're in the mood for hot coffee I'd reccomend the Norvus Ordo, it tastes like those chocolate oranges you get at Christmas. If you're in the mood for iced, I'd reccomend the Cosmic Coconut. Picked up the Pride blend on my way out as well, I trust that it will be wonderful!
This is hands down the best coffee in Northwest Indiana. I have worked my way down their menu and I can say with confidence that everything is delicious! They roast their coffee in the back portion of the cafe which makes it smell so good! They have great, simple food menu items that are all great. I like to come here and get some work done or bring out of town guests to. I love showing off this space to all my friends! What a great addition to MC!
Long time customer, first time I realized no review! Fluid is an treasure here in NW Indiana. Made me love coffee even more, which I didn't realize was possible. Great staff. Great coffee. Great music. Highly recommend!
This place is special. Walking in I was expecting a pretty standard local roaster / coffee shop. It is much more than that. The vibe here is awesome, love the neon lights and eclectic vaguely punk artwork. The second thing that stood out was how creative the menu is. The drink I got was a mixture of smoked orange, chocolate and sea salt. It’s one of the more unique lattes I’ve had in years. Love this place and look forward to coming back when in town.
Wow! The drinks and food are amazing here.. but not as amazing as the people working here. So friendly and customer focused. Noah is a pleasure to see early in the AM. Will be back every day the rest of my trip here and will recommend to everyone I know
Stopped here for coffee & was not disappointed. Great iced mocha to cool down after a sunny day at the beach. Cool, alternative/goth vibe inside. Super friendly worker people. Nice local art for sale inside. I loved the stickers. And I'll be coming back for the coffee!

Whether I’m trying to sit a while & get some work done or meeting friends/ clients, Fluid is my go to!!The Fluid crew is always ready to make an amazing cup of coffee OR TEA! I love the pastries and variety of food options too!Lastly!! The plethora of art you can find there! Some are their iconic pieces that are up 365, while others rotate showcasing local and unique creatives in a variety of mediums!
