We had the cajeta special for 2, and came with one cajeta with cactus, chicken,chorizo,steak, and shrimp, it also included 2 plates each with rice, beans, pico,lettuce,a scoop of guacamole, sour cream, and 2 portions of your choice of tortilla. The meat was enough for at least one other to eat put of. We had the red and green taco salsas. If you like heat with a roasted flavor go for the red, delicious. The tomatillo salsa is good if you like sweeter. The ice cream was good. You can modify it pretty much any way youd like. We are from out of town visiting family, and this place has earned a visit each time I come to visit her. The staff was super attentive, friendly, treated you like a neighbor( the kind youd water their lawn if they went on vaca).
My husband and I eat here probably every other month or so. We typically order carry out. The food is always delicious and fresh. When we’ve eaten in, we’ve always had great service. The young man and two ladies who work there are always so polite and helpful.
Best, most authentic, food in the area. Prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is always clean and the service is quick and friendly. The restaurant is owned by 2 sisters that also work there and they are wonderful and hardworking. They do a great job preparing the food safely; I am prone to food poisoning and I have NEVER gotten sick here.
As a native Houstonian married to a Mexican man, I can safely say that the food here is legit. Ask for the real salsas, so spicy and good. Everything we ordered was delicious. Tortillas are store bought but whatever. Horchata was on point. So happy to have found this place on our drive.
One of the best tasting Mexican restaurants in N.W. Indiana. You got to try it. Food is so good. Staff is wonderful!

Just discovered this awesome, family-owned restaurant. Loved everything we tried. Great guac. Fab fajitas. Definitely worth a try.
Very good food & large portions. Worth the drive from Valparaiso & Knox. The ladies are very nice & fast workers.
