Didn't even get to eat here. Waited 25 min and wasn't even seated. They only had 1 waitress working. I understand being understaffed and felt horrible for her. What looked like the boss even came out from the back and looked at us and didn't even say a word like you'd think a boss would. Normally they greet you and ask if you've been helped or atleast say someone will be with you shortly. A cook from the back was walking around on his phone, with a kid running around next to him. I used to love going here with my grandma when I was younger which I why I attempted going. It's gone way downhill.
Really enjoyed our visit today. Service was excellent, the food was great and came out very quick. The manager came out and asked how the meal was. The place was clean. Have not been to Denny's in years, but it fully exceeded my expectations, and kids eat free on Tuesday's and Saturday's. I also liked the decor and the music they played! Our order was taken within minutes. Unlike the place across the street, which is how we arrived at Denny's!
When I was a youngster, truck stops were a big deal in our rural community. Denny's reminds me of them in food (ample) quirkiness, and atmosphere. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Just know this is not a Panera or Starbucks experience. That being said, there's lots of parking, they're handicapped accessible, usually not busy. The service was good.
We stopped today...We never ate...waited about 15 - 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge us at the wait to be seated booth.We were seated with menus and then watched others being waited on and never acknowledged againNo one looked our way...after about 25 minutes decided to leave...not upset or anything...just felt like we sat at table that made us invisible...they were busy but not over the top. My guess short handed but "hello - would have been nice.Just wanted to share ... no hard feelings just letting you know...
Bad customer service. Several tables were asked for their drinks & food order before us when we arrived 20 minutes before them. Our waitress tried to make our experience better. But this place is very short staffed. It took over 5 minutes for someone to come to the registers & check us out. Food orders were incorrect, sent the order back & it came out wrong AGAIN. This place is highly NOT RECOMMENDED.
mother foes didn't even wait on us we sat there 40 min and no one ever waited on us and there were 4 customer's in there total poor work ethic
Wasn’t busy but service was quick and food tasted great and waiter very Edwin was attentive to see if everything ok and if needed anything.
After a long morning on the road going home to Michigan we stopped at Dennys for breakfast because we always get great service and a good breakfast. We were greeted by the host I didn’t catch his name he seated us right away and was very friendly and kind then our waitress Elaine showed up she was rude right from the start never brought silverware or napkins my husband got up and got them for us. My English muffin wasn’t even toasted but covered in butter. I didn’t send it back because after bringing our food we never saw Elaine again until she brought the bill. Had to ask a different waitress for salt, pepper, and ketchup. My husband left a tip I would not have left anything had it just been me. Poor server + poor service= we will never stop here again!!!!!
I usually don’t complain but my visit today wasn’t the best. I completely understand that everywhere is short handed and people dont want to work. The people where pleasent. I wish i could say the same about my food. All of it was cold, biscuits weren’t cooked. I threw away the majority of everything i bought to eat today. Horrible experience.
Our waiter, think his name was Bill, was absolutely with his service. He went above and beyond, making sure we had what we needed and wanted to eat and delight to talk with.
