I came too late for food. Kitchen closed at 9. Drinks were very good but this place gets kudos for a very cool venue and excellent name. Agave Mansion just makes you want to visit. I advise everyone in area to check it out and I will revisit to review food, then I will rewrite post.

I have not been to the restuarant to dine in yet. But I have ordered pick up quite a few times. The food has been amazing. Fresh n authentic. Love this place. Spreading the word of mouth as much as I can. Looking forward to actually coming in for a good sit down meal.
First time her, great place to enjoy some good tacos and music with friends or date night. Came here with my boyfriend and we got the steak ,chicken and chorizo tacos. The steak was so good. The brunch menu looked good also. Definitely will be back.Such a cute place also!
Went on Saturday and it was awesome!! Got there around 430 and found a spot at the bar..Ordered a Margarita and it was spot on...Had a burger and it was perfect..My wife had shrimp tacos and she said they were good..Warm salsa with above average chips were a welcome addition..Jose and his staff are excellent..Bartender was a local and filled us in on the area..Will be back ASAP!!
I’ve been here three times now. The first two had different menu offerings and was very happy with my choices. Today I was disappointed as I’ve been pumping up your restaurant and the menu choices were not great, even though it was a Sunday and it was a brunch menu. I’ve eaten there on Sunday before and your brunch menu was better.Hopefully you’ll have a few more options that don’t include eggs and chorizo sausage.Otherwise, service was really good, margaritas were good too and chips were good!
I’m happy to write this review because it’s about time Michigan City is getting a good Mexican restaurant. After 7 years living here, we don’t often eat here because most restaurants are either corporate or just subpar food. Not today though. We ordered guacamole to add to the chips and salsa they brought with our drinks. Very nice and authentic for all the guacamole and salsas I ordered (3). The margaritas are flavorful and generous. That was encouraging so we added the wings with our cilantro lime and agave hot sauce on the side, delicious. Then a vegetarian, al pastor and fish taco, all were zesty and delicious. With our food buzz on we had to try the tortilla soup and that made me a believer because it is exceptional. Add to the outstanding food and attentive service, they also have a huge dancehall upstairs for live music with a real stage. My hopes are well wishes for Agave Mansion because we need more really good authentic places to eat here so please keep up the good delicious work. Michigan City has another foodie joint. We’ll definitely be back!
Just tried for the first time. Wish I could've tried everything. But the few things I did were delicious. Not a complaint at all. Will be spreading the Agave Mansion praise. I'll be back to try more. Great luck to you
