Amazing food. The tacos are fresh, horchata is refreshing & overall great service.
It was my first time coming to Taco Depot,and let me tell you guys,the food,drinks and shakes were amazing, it us the best Taco place I ever been,I even got the chance to meet and to speak with one of the owners at Taco Depot, very nice person and very kind,thank you fir sharing a lil bit about your place and your delicious food,and most definitely people I do recommend this place100%,please stop by and try there amazing food.,and those delicious shakes as well.
This Karla dinner was sooooo good! The beans were yummy the meat was tender and the dip……MY GOD THE DIP. I wanted to drink it alone. I actually saved the dip. Gotta figure out what imma make with it because it was too good to throw out. And you know the food good when a picky five year old eats all of it and he doesn’t like trying new things. The only thing is instead of a quesadilla they gave him two steak tacos which was fine because he actually wanted that but I was expecting quesadillas because that’s what the menu said but nevertheless I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
I didn't take pictures of my food, but I must say that the food overall was enjoyable. My boyfriend and I tried Taco Depot for the 1st time tonight via Door Dash. We tried the pork tamale, chicken tamale with red sauce, birria taco dinners with consume, pork tacos on hard shell, and a carnitas taco on flour. If I'm being honest, the rice and beans were very basic. They weren't terrible but not great either....just ok. The pastor taco was very flavorful. I enjoyed the crunch of the hard shell. The carnitas was good, but I'd get it on corn shell next time. The star of the meal were the birria tacos. I've made them before at home, but it can be time consuming. Theirs beats another restaurant I've tried in East Chicago by far. I will definitely be back for birria tacos. I can't stress enough how much we enjoyed those.
FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY!!!!!!!! A RESTAURANT IN NORTH WESTERN INDIANA THAT I CAN BRAG ABOUT. As an Illinois native, finding good food based off of referrals has been disappointing out here. Oh but the taco heavens has heard my cry.I love the fact that your request are heard. The shrimp tacos were to die for! Well seasoned with a crunch in the shell. I requested for my large elotes to be layered and they did it without a problem. My entire order was affordable, without a complaint.I will be back, because we're friends now!

DoorDashed this to work. Rice was salty and burrito was dry…sour cream was only on like one side and the meat was on the other so I just got dry bites of chicken by itself with no toppings. I also think shredded chicken would be a better option as opposed to the little chunks.
Food is always fantastic, hot and fast! The Karla tacos and Karla quesadilla are my favorite menu items. Have never been disappointed! Keep up the good work.
Maan this place is DELICIOUS! Need I say more?.. I can but I got a face full of Karla Tacos right now ! 1000% recommend
