The service was great! Our server Veronica was upbeat and very accommodating. The food was mediocre. Some foods were even tasteless. They don't offer a lot of authentic Mexican food varieties but after looking around while eating, I understood that they catered to the area. The drinks are ok. The location in Griffith is way more authentic and delicious. I will give them another try though just because of the great service.
Went to pepes when I was little and finally made it out when I got older and place hasn't changed food was awesome
Best restaurant in town! Food is great, service is spectacular, great atmosphere, and the price is right! Our granddaughter had a great time! I would recommend this place to anyone!
Gordon Ramsay would have a field day with this and maybe shut it down. Services was good, dinner returned to heat my friend's food up but mine was too upsetting to keep running her to the kitchen, his steak was before returning to be heated was so rubbery and not chewable that we know it was not fresh, the corn shells(bread) that came with steak was straight from the package, rice was so not fresh, no taste very bland tasting food and dry just dry and no sauce for that steak WHAT!!! Never would recommend not return to Pepe's in Merrillville Indiana.
Excellent dining experience with a nice atmosphere. The bar area is very good to relax and enjoy a variety of games that are on the TV around the bar area.Nice indoor dining with plenty of room to enjoy yourself without over crowding.
Very good place. Especially for a taco Tuesday. The staff is friendly. Very good vibes and atmosphere. Will definitely go back.

Came in a few days ago and seen a mice, when I reported this to the waitress she pulled me to the side and asked me not to get to loud and that she would take care of it. Honestly, disgusting! The fact that the owner just responded and trying to call me a liar? Now I am going to upload the picture and contact the health department . Should have keep mouth closed !!
Staff is always friendly, the food is delicious! Margaritas are amazing! Love how they always accommodate me for being a vegetarian. Best place around
Food was great. Service was great. The only problem I had was it stunk horribly like sewer. It was so strong and so bad I had to take my food to go.
