I ordered 2 pizzas, 1 medium thin crust, 1 small deep dish. The "new" girl brought out 1 medium thin I ordered and a small thin I didn't order, didn't order deep dish, will take another 45min. Long story short, they have new people that don't know how to put in your order properly. I also had the pizza bread, it was cold, thankfully it came with warm Marana sauce. The pizza was better than average, but not sure when I might try again. The girl that checked us out did finally comp the appetizer. First time in my life I didn't leave a tip. Very frustrating experience.
Tried for the first time today, pizza was fantastic. Sauce and toppings were both fantastic and tasted fresh. Definitely recommend when you're in the area. I will definitely be back.
I haven't had Palermos since I went to the one in oak lawn. They had the sweet sauce I liked, but there wasn't much cheese or pepperoni filling in their calzones. Just a lot of sauce. The Alfredo noodles wasn't completely soft either, but I liked the service so I'll give it another shot.
The service was very good. Super friendly and helpful. The pizza sauce is supper sweet almost like a Desert. It was wayyyy to much for me some might like it, just not for me. I wouldn’t get pizza her again.
Not sure if this location just doesn’t know how to make paper thin crust or they just choose not to. This is probably the 3rd time I’ve given them the chance to make a paper thin crust easy sauce pizza. This is the third time I’ve received a not thin crust pizza with a enough sauce to make another pizza. As you can see I took the cheese off a piece to show the ridiculous amount of sauce Guess I’ll have to make that drive to the original.
We had a wedding rehearsal dinner here tonight for almost 50 people. I could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone attending was from out of town and they all raved about the food. The staff was wonderful, and the service was great. But the food stole the show. So much great food and everything was delicious. And there was so much food. I would highly recommend you call and use them if you need a place for an event. Or just call and get their great food to take home. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

We have been getting Palermo’s pizza since they opened here in Merrillville. We had a birthday party here last week and it couldn’t have gone better! As always the food was delicious! The owner from the beginning was great to work with and the servers went above and beyond. They were so accommodating and friendly and were on top of everything, from making sure all then guests had drinks to making sure the food was replenished! They never stopped! Thank you so much for making our birthday celebration a success!
I'm a pizza freak. I'm 65 and only met one person that can hang with me. Palermo's has bumped out Aurelios for all time number 2 spot. Great pizza, thin crust looks a little thicker but don't let it fool ya. Its great. Sauce is great. Great mushrooms and sausage. Service was not great but I don't expect a servant either. Almost in Home Depot parking lot. Hidden gem. Take it from a fat old guy.
Best kept secret in NW Indiana. Nestled just east of Southlake Mall. Food was very good. With their extensive menu, they will have what you desire on your visit. Give it a try; we did and better for it.
