Emily B was my server and she was fabulous!! She was attentive, polite, caring and professional! When I complained about my brussel sprouts being undercooked she immediately asked if I wanted her to place another order to my satisfaction. I was just going to take them home and cook them more but she responded appropriately. Keep up the good work!!
They ruined my Birthday dinner and upset me. The food was ordered to go. Pick up time was 7:30. Sat in my car for approximately 20 mins. after checking in at spot #5. Called. Got put on hold and then hung up on. Had to get out of the car and go in only to see my food sitting behind the girl taking orders and given a rude comment. No manager, both managers, could not be found by staff for almost 8-10 minutes. Allegedly they Both were "taking out the trash". The girl taking orders and no other staff person could give me a discount for my inconvenience so I was further inconvenienced by having to wait. I didn't end up eating dinner til after 8:20pm with my family and the food was cold, the steak was cooked almost well done, with white grease sitting on the top of it, and that's disgusting. If I wasn't so tired I would have returned all of their nasty food. The salad was wilted and the cake we ordered was smashed.All in all, I paid a lot of money to be treated like trash on my birthday...a birthday that I will never forget. Not everyone can go sit in a restaurant when you're caring for sick loved ones. Think twice about ordering to go from here and check your food before you leave.Longhorn did reach out to me and offered me a gift card but it still doesn't help the memories of my ruined birthday dinner.
Lunch today, Monday, 4/11/22, had me worried when we went in at 1:35. We didn't see many employees but a good number of diners. We were seated in about two minutes and ordered lunches at a few minutes to 2 O'clock.Erica was our server in the best possible way. Quick and polite. Delicious food was delivered in about 15 to 20 minutes, not too slow at all considering today's conditions. Erica was obviously covering more territory that she should have been, but she had no complaints, and neither did we.Time in to time out was short of an hour and a half. Not bad. As others have noted, when you are ready to eat, you're very aware of time passing , but the friendliness, courtesy , and very good food makes it well worth your time.Bottom line, it's not fast, but it is really good. Plus you get to meet some very good employees.
I wish the stars were out of 10, because that's what my past experience was. My girlfriend's birthday was last Friday, and she wanted to have LongHorn for her birthday lunch/dinner. We had been to this location a few times before, and never had Darnell as our waiter. We had him this time around and he is EASILY the BEST person to have. He had such an upbeat and bubbly personality and was serving so many other tables and booths, in the general area of our booth. I gave him what I hope was a very generous tip, but he deserves all the money that LongHorn can give. Fantastic service! And yes, the food is great. It has yet to be a bad experience with food and service.
1st of all, it was my birthday, the employees told us it would take a hour and a half before we could be served, no biggie, we had to wait 2 hours! When we were finally seated, the waitress came over and asked if we wanted drinks and appetizers, we ordered 2 Texas margarita's and some soup! The margaritas were the Worst Ever! So we sent them back after a half hour wait for the drinks we finally ordered our food! After another hours wait, the food came back WRONG! So, they wanted us to wait another half hour! WRONG AGAIN! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! Instead, we ended up going to Wendy's! We'll never go to that place AGAIN! Thanks for making my 60th worth remembering! I really wasn't trying to give the place No Stars, but it wouldn't let me post otherwise!
Service was good. Waitress was attentive. Food seasoned good. I did have to switch with my hubby because I asked for Medium done and it came out closer to well done. Other than that the Cowboy T-bone was delicious.
We walked in and made a reservation, it was busy and no where to sit or stand so we waited in the car. We waited for 2 hours and they never paged us or anyone else waiting in the parking lot. Walked in to check if our table was ready and was rudely asked “well then did we page you? No, so sit down” the place was empty and lots of tables to sit at, the servers said right in front of us to start paging people to come in because we complained. Not even 2 minutes after sitting down they told us our table was ready so why the 2 hour wait is beyond me but we had dinner plans so couldn’t go anywhere else. 5 stars for the servers, we still had a great experience with them but the front end needs to get it together.
Always go here for a nice dinner. Have never been disappointed with service or food. Just wish they'd bring back the Prime Rib.
We did the online check-in. At that time there was a 40-50 minute wait. That didn't do much. Once we arrived, 40 minutes after we checked in, there was still another 40 minute wait. It was busy as would be expected the Saturday before valentine's day, but the estimations on wait times were way off. You could tell the staff at the door was doing everything they could.Food was very good and our server was great as she was busting her butt waiting on several tables. You could could almost tell that they were a little short staffed for the night but our waitress didn't let it show. She was friendly and attentive. But let me say that the woman who started clearing our table was quite rude. It was almost like she had worked at a truck stop diner the way she was reaching across the table taking plates and glasses and interrupting our conversation. She acted as though she wanted to say that your check is on the table now get the hell out. On the fence if I want to go back the the Merrillville location.
A bit of a wait but it was very good. We had a bit of an appetizer issue but it was quickly resolved by the manager. Dinner was very good and our server was fantastic. The manager (I didn't get her name) was very nice and very much on her game.
