Was very excited to come here to find out the food is just mediocre. They definitely cater to the “white people” version of Mexican food. Drinks were nice & the queso was good. If you’re looking to just get wasted off margaritas, then this is your place. If you’re seeking more authentic food, try another place.
Been to El Salto before but not this location until recent. They had the best service and some of the best food I've had in a very long time. Who ever the chef is, he or she is fantastic.
Hobart location is the best location of these restaurants. The portions are not that big. Service was good. Food was ok. About $25 per person. My kids like this place, so it isn't my first choice. I can say, they used to be very good. I would have recommended this place before. Location to location, there is a big difference in taste.
The food was served VERY fast... within 5 minutes of ordering. We ordered the carne asada tacos. It was cold and extremely bland. No flavor whatsoever to the meat.
Food seems pricey for the quality but otherwise ok. Got the steak taco dinner & vegetable quesadilla and both are adequate - seems to just be missing a little something in the flavor department. Service is quick and courteous.
My wife and I have eaten here many, many times, and have never had a bad experience. Ruben and Isabelle are excellent servers, and the food is always hot, fast, fresh, and delicious. Don't pass up on one of, if not the best restaurant in the area. You will not be disappointed.
I wish I could give a 0 star review. It’s so hard to write this review and not use profanity. Because the adjectives that I want to use can only be found in profanity. Literally the food was the worst thing I have ever consumed. The steak smelled like feet. My wife’s food wasn’t cooked thoroughly. And they have the audacity to charge $18 for 3 tacos? This place is BS. Food is TRASH. THIS ISN’T AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD. This place is a rip off. They give you chips and salsa as an appetizer. Lol. What a joke. The sauces that they gave us can be bought from target. The steak was trash. Felt like rubber. If you go to a REAL Central American restaurant, the food quality is so much better for a FRACTION of the price. Hope this cheap owner will do something about this dying restaurant. Will never come back here again. Garbage place.

Overall good experience. Food was amazing, got it fast. Did feel a little like our server was annoyed with us, not really sure why. Also felt a bit rushed after we were done with our food and were sitting talking with the group.
Our first time at this location (we always go to Munster). My daughter claims this one is better. She's right!Great service and good food.
