As my daughter would say, it was "bussin bussin "!Everyone can stop with KFC being better..I worked there , the one I marion Indiana...and umm for all of yall talking smack about Popeyes..at least they don't have maggots in their food . KFC chicken is nasty as hell, over priced , ..at least at Popeyes the chicken is fresh, not been sitting for hours and then served to people. I think our KFC needs shut down anyways.. when I worked there i found feathers in the chicken and wasn't even being cooked.right . So there yall go .Popeyes was well worth it . ? and I'd eat it all the time .. the chicken sandwich with the Megan thee stallion sauce or whatever it is ..was really good !! The chicken was crispy and tender and just real good ! ? best experience I've had at a Popeyes period
Went on Friday night after opening around 8:30 only in drive thru for 5 mins took my order got my food very quickly after hearing about everyone complaining about how it sucks got sandwich combo and 8 piece apple and kid meal for $17 but chicken tasted so much better then nasty KFC daughter loves it
Management is beyond lost. After waiting 40 minutes in the drive through behind no more than 8 vehicles my order was obscurely lost amoungst orders placed by fellow drive thru patreons. If this wasn't enough after verbally reconfirming my entire order i was surprised to find my order was completely messed up after arriving home. Turns out not one of the 20+ people packed into that kitchen is qualified to verify orders.On a side note the back door was wide open while I waited allowing me a sneak peak into their brand new kitchen not even 1 week open. Looks like a well seasoned kitchen based on grim build-up visible from my seat 20 feet away. Very disappointing. This business is going to be managed into the ground. A fate deserved for the incompetence of ownership.To anyone who does like this franchise. You'd be better served driving to any other location. This place will waste your time without reprieve. If you dont believe me note their lack of a phone number. Their receipts dont even have a registered phone number to fix mistakes which says they don't care.

Went on opening day. A little pricey but I guess it's going to be the new norm. Chicken was good
Had a wonderful experience at Popeyes on opening day. I decided to eat in since the drive thru was extremely busy(It was the grand opening after all). My food arrived in a timely manner. Overall happy to have a new option in Marion.
Waited in line over a hour. Food tasted like rubber, not fully cooked. Didn’t give me all of my order and none of my sauces and spent over $40! Terrible I don’t recommend at all!!! Employee had a attitude when I asked for my missing drink! Awful!!!!! Waste of money and time.
The chicken was not cooked throughout and was rubbery. The worst part was a young couple brought a dog wrapped in a blanket into the restaurant. They stood at the counter with it and at the soda dispenser. No manager said anything to them. I will not eat there again.
Me and my boyfriend went through their drive thru opening day the food was highly over priced paying twenty four dollars for two small combos very small portions not worth the price save your money go to KFC across the street where you can get an 8 piece with 2 large sides and biscuits for 21.00 we won't be coming back
This Popeyes in blue Island is the best.Their customer service is top notch and they have the best freshly brewed sweet tea.
