Where to start... Slow to take our order....slow to get our food and drinks...meal came before drinks or appitizer. Margerita had salt or sugar on rim.. requested none and tasted like straight sour mix. Chicken was burn and to salty. Watched 2 customers being ignore and almost left. Service seems to have went downhill. One compliment.... Oriental Chicken Salad was delicious.
BE SURE AND ASK IF SEAN/SHAWN/SHAUN IS WORKING BEFORE ORDERING STEAK!I have had 2 awesome experiences with this location, this year. There is a guy there with my same name (not sure about the spelling)who cooks one heck of a steak. Be sure to give Sean/Shawn/Shaun (or however you spell it)a raise. You want to keep this one. Without him, I won't even eat your steak. I have been let down every other time I tried in all my years eating here. I decided to, randomly, on our anniversary. I didn't regret my decision. Great service & atmosphere even while being quite busy! The chocolate lava cake is like a party in your mouth & sure to please even if your not a chocolate fan! You honestly just can't go wrong with any Applebee's deserts!
Today the restaurant felt very dirty. The hostess stand/waiting area were both completely trashed. I would estimate that it probably took over 10 mins for an employee to acknowledge that I was waiting to be seated (the place was not busy). Standing there for all that time gave me a chance to observe just how many tables were still completely full of dirty dishes. It really made for an unpleasant atmosphere. When I left most of the tables were still full of the same dirty dishes. There are plenty of other places to dine out at. Please do not spend your money here. Not sure what is going on at this location??? PS... How can you be out of half of everything on the menu? Especially French fries???
We visited the Applebees in Marion tonight. What a horrible experience. We sat at the bar to eat. The bartender was VERY foul mouthed. She said the F word twice, the GD word and the S word loud enough that everyone could hear her. She was not friendly at all. The food was decent but the service was not acceptable. I’m not sure there was a manager around and you could tell. Needless to say we will not be going back anytime soon.
Sunday, outstanding service. Many customers, food glowing out if the kitchen, hit, delish... shorthanded but couldn't tell. Greeter explained situation, but man customers were surprised... thank you for the perfect service, and maybe other Applebee's in the are should be trained by you . Please forward to CORP. OFFICE.
went for my b-day ordered cajun salmon never got broccoli fries like rubber never was asked if like coffee refill when u spend 40.00 on meal that u only do on special occasion because u live on a fixed income u should expect better service.
She was a very forgetful...my daughter an I went in for lunch. Ordered our food. An I mentioned before I leave I am ordering food to go. She also took that order. My daughters meal was not right... Waitress took it an corrected it...her salad came half hour later.. I finished eating... I asked her to put the to go order in. We asked for boxes an bill. She brought the receipt...I looked an no charge for the to go order. I told her...She brought that receipt.. Then said ok have a nice day.. I said where is my to go food..lordy. She was nice just her mind wasn't there..... smh..
The food was decent, but the staff here is absolutely incredible. Everyone who we came in contact with that worked there was extremely kind and accommodating. The service and the decently priced drinks will have me coming back again.
service was a bit slow on the day we visited. husband ordered a salad with his entree and it arrived after the food. server had bill adjusted and was apologetic. food quality and portions have changed a bit over the years. still a local favorite
