Me and My family visited this restaurant approximately 11:30 today, and I have to say that it was the friendliest service I've ever seen in a fast food establishment to this day! There was a young man working the counter and if you were to look up the word Hospitality in the dictionary, You'd find a picture of this young man. We were greeted by him as soon as we walked in the door and he was so friendly and he went out of his way to make sure our food was correct and that we had everything we needed during our visit. Food was hot and Fresh and everything tasted marvelous! Will for sure be returning when I come back to town!
Hot dogs were hard like they were cooled in a microwave ?
I only gave this restaurant 3 stars because it always takes forever tomget through the drive-thru line!
Food was fresh, hot and our order was perfect. Service was fast and friendly!
Redicilous prices,. Was going to get 6 Spanish, and total amount was 22 to 26 dollars. I backed out of line and left..
We were visiting in the area for the day. We aren't from that area. We walked in the manager had already yelled at someone through the drive thru for whatever reason. We went in for dine in I should mention. Well the guy takes our order. Nice polite young man. They had water all over where the pop and etc is. And my daughter accidentally knocked the sign down. The manager yelled and asked what is that in the most rudest voice. I spoke up and said it was my daughter and we're sorry. She didn't say one word like sorry or anything. The floor was very WET. There was older people than us in their 60s/80s after us. They didn't try to dry up the floor. I know we had to watch our steps. If we're ever in the area again I can say we will not be back.
While I love LJS, they can be a bit slow at times. You get what you wait for though and the food is good - ownership and (to a lesser degree) management is fabulous and will go out of their way to make everything right.
If you're looking for an authentic Coney dog, don't waste your time here. They serve chili dogs that taste like they've been kept in vinegar...yuck! When I complained I was told to go to BK if I wanted a Coney dog. (That's a testimony from the manager!) I told them that their advertising is wrong and should be corrected. I got laughed at. So, if you drive just 5 miles south east to Gas City, you'll find a BK. I'd rather drive to Lafayette, Indiana to the true Coney dog providers there! I miss the old USA!
Food was hot and fresh, chicken was great.
The chili dogs tasted dry and old and the cheese curds were hard won't be returning
