I spent four years in San Diego, California. While I was there, I ate Mexican food many times a week. Some of the best Mexican food. It has been 5 years since then and those 5 years had much to recommend them but good Mexican food was not, in the large, among those things. Well, imagine my surprise as the first bite of a meal purchased at a Home Depot parking lot taco truck transported me back in time. Well done.Want seating and music? Go to a restaurant. Want good food? Come here.

Stopped into their restaurant for the first time today and let me tell you, I won’t be going to any other Mexican restaurant other than this one! The food is fresh and delicious! The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff is friendly. 10/10 recommend!! Definitely my favorite spot in the Lafayette area!

The chorizo tacos I got were so good! The service was quick and welcoming:) I pass by this place all the time, and I’m glad I finally tried it. Definitely worth a stop!

This food truck is delicious. The service is fast and the people are very polite. You can't find Al pastor in Lafayette as good as they have at this food truck. I would highly recommend

Food truck. With great Mexican Food. I don't know what other people expect from a food truck. Outdoor seating? Mariachi? You go there and buy Mexican Food, and then be on your way. The food is great, pay cash only, and then you are given pager like device. When it beeps and lights up you collect your food. The food tastes great. I've been many times and I've had no complaints.

Best food truck ever and 2 great chefs ??‍???‍?

I give them a five star has been the best tacos o ha e taste here in Lafayette yet and I been here for six years now and they are very nice ppl…..

This food truck is located in the parking lot of Home Depot, in Lafayette. I drove up and parked, and upon approaching the truck, I was greeted to a VERY loud humming from the truck' propane- powered generator. Some music would have been nice, to not only add a distraction from this very loud noise, but to add some ambiance to the atmosphere... That being said, I was quickly greeted by a friendly gentleman, and I proceeded to look at my options. Once I made my decision, I I was asked what type of meat I would like on my burrito. It was very hard to hear what he was saying over the hum of the generator, but he made a nice suggestion, and explained it fairly well. I went to pay, and despite "Cash Only" being written all over the truck, I attempted to pay w/ a card...?‍♂️ He then directed me to an ATM at the Family Express located near the spot the food truck was parked in. I then ran over there, and upon my return, was informed that my meal was already being prepared. I paid for my meal, left a tip, and was given a restaurant pager, to notify my when my food was ready, which was very convenient, as it was quite cold, and I could sit in my nearby car, while my meal was prepared. It wasn't long before my pager went off, and I grabbed my meal, which was given to me in a tied off plastic bag w/ a Styrofoam box, a couple sauces, a napkin, and some plastic utensils in it. I then left the parking lot, and headed home to enjoy my meal. 3- Stars, because the truck was so loud, I could barely hear the staff, they only took cash, there was no outside seating, and the portions were not as great as similar establishments in the area comparatively.

Mmmmmm mmmmmm mmmm what else can I say. Here is another hidden gem if you are in the area. Wife happen to spot this and sure glad she did. Very authentic we got 5 asada tacos and 2 tortas everything delicious. Salas were great too and reasonably priced. Definitely coming back!
