Menu is much more limited here than many other breweries in town. However, they have the best beer in town. They know what they are good at and the focus on it. They don't dilute with a fancy menu or gimmicks. Great beer and a little food. It works.The cool history spread on the walls of Lafayette and Thieme & Wagner's place in mid-West brewing is a bonus. Take the time to grab a beer and learn a little about history. You won't regret it.
Cool, little spot in the center of downtown! Lots of neat memorabilia and fantastic beer and food! The bartender has one of the most elite mullets I've seen, in my lifetime! Well worth a visit!

A calm local meet-up spot for adults of all ages
My stumble-upon find after visiting the Lazy Cat Cafe, Thieme and Wagner is a gem. Spent a good bit of time talking to the owners, including David, the brewmaster. We talked about the family's brewing history going back to 1863 and David's work recreating some of the old beer recipes. Tons of memorabilia and a strong sense of community are all on display. The Pal's Lager was an excellent brew - fresh, great lager hop character, perfectly balanced. I'll be back!

Busy night- Very loud. I couldn't hear the person talking across from me. Drinks were perfect.
