Love the vibe here. Staff was really friendly and was very on top of things, however it was quite busy for a weekday so I feel like on a weekend that might pose an issue with long wait times...Although I feel that it would be worth it. The drinks were great, and so was the food! I ordered one of their specialty cocktails and the fig pizza and both were amazing. Would definitely go here again, and recommend to others.
Sparrow is under related on their food. We have been there a handful of time and 6et to be disappointed! highly recommend!

Outstanding!Excellent, fresh-baked, hand-tossed, thin crust pizza with tasty toppings. It was delicious! I had the El Capo pizza: red sauce, spicy sausage, 'shrooms, green peppers, onion, goat cheese and mozzarella cheese.. perfectly baked. The draught pumpkin ale was excellent too. Friendly service. I was alone, and I sat at the bar, and was in and out in about 40 minutes. I highly recommend The Black Sparrow.
Have been here on several occasions, on this particular day we stopped in for lunch. The Black Sparrow at first glance seems underwhelming. Once you step inside, the character and charm changes your mind.Boasting a large selection of cocktails and drinks, the Sparrow has a wonderful selection of local brews.Food is not only unique, but pleasantly tasteful and fulfilling. The textures, flavors, and combinations are all done right.For the price is slightly higher than you might expect at a typical sit-down restaurant, it is well worth the experience and the results.Enjoy!
Absolutely a must in Lafayette. The first craft cocktail bar we had here and it's still the best. Try some of their signature cocktails and enjoy. Never too sweet and very balanced. Then, there is the food! Bar food elevated. Love the pizzas, the burger, the Bahn Mi, and whatever soup they have. They also have specials and I always get the nachos when they are available. The nachos use house made fresh tortilla chips, chorizo, queso fresca and AVOCADO. This California native loves when she can get fresh avocado on a menu in Indiana. This wouldn't be a proper review if I didn't mention the fabulous staff. Let's just say, we love them and they take great care of us! Thanks for all the great times, Sparrow!
