The good: the chips were especially delicious! It's my favorite part of a Mexican restaurant. The food was very good also. Our server was extremely attentive.The bad: I felt like they were trying to hurry us through our meal by prematurely taking our plates and food away. I didn't feel like we even got a chance to chit chat with our guest.
the worst mexican food ever!
We recently visited Riviera on a whim (1st time) and were pleasantly surprised as to what a nice dining experience it was. Generous complimentary chips/salsa, tasty margaritas and the shrimp fajitas were superb - all at reasonable prices. The quantity of fajitas was quite large and I wasn't able to finish all of it! The thing that stood out to me most was the hustle of the employees and their great attention to customer service. It has been a long time since I've seen that level of activity with any food establishment wait staff and they truly seemed to enjoy what they were doing. I'll definitely make this my go-to for Mexican food in the future!
I order a pick up and my salsa container was not even half full, I paid for extra and they were both not even half full. Also paid for extra queso on my arroz con pollo and it was very dry.
Very disappointed and won’t be back. Saw our waitress twice during our entire meal. Appetizer served after our meal was served and it was just cheese dip. No drink or chip refills. Food was good but a little pricey. Overall not happy and won’t be back.
This place definitely is NOT an authentic Mexican restaurant. Visited for first time, menus were not clean, ordered my food was supposed to be two Chix enchiladas and one Beef, they bring me all three Chix, so that tells me the waiter is NOT paying attention or doesn’t care. The Quality was just okay. Nothing truly Mexican flair. I ordered side beans and they honestly tasted like something out of a can. Really disappointing. Still did right thing tipped waiter 20% even thou he messed up my order bringing my bill to $19 but I won’t be back!
Had lunch there a month ago. Food was variable. Seafood enchiladas were not that great, chicken burrito was excellent. Stopped back in the eve of Jan 30th. Sat at the bar and attempted to order carry-out, took 20 min for someone to address my intentions. Ordered 2 burritos and cheese dip. Waited another 20 minutes for my order only to find out it was incomplete. I paid for my beer and left. I would say the service during both of my visits was less than acceptable. Not to mention the bar tender that suggested I needed to respect him. I am the customer who helps pays your paycheck.
The food was great, I think if they wrote down my order, maybe they would have gotten it correct. Our drinks also didn't get refilled the whole meal. Other than that, it was great.
We love this place. Always good, hot food. Fast, friendly service. Happy and energetic atmosphere. Music. Our go-to Mexican grill spot.
Everything was all piled on top of each other. Food under the tortilla shell and the shell was soaked from the grease of the sautéed onions. We asked for an appetizer that was never rang in and the alcohol was so strong you couldn't even taste any flavoring. We didn't see our waitress for 20 minutes until someone else had to go and grab her just to get our bill so that we could leave. Would strongly recommend choosing a different Mexican restaurant.
