Amazing!! The vibe is absolutely unmatched. No place like it in town. Intimate setting with limited seating. Very inviting, great lighting, awesome music and it was during the final 4 so they had the game on. My wife and I stopped in for 1 drink. Best old fashioned I'd ever had. Ended up staying for 6. I wouldn't even call then bartenders, the mixologist were absolutely amazing. When you stop in, if you fancy an old fashioned, have it with Jeptha Creed bourbon... you won't be sorry. I would give Ritual a 6/5 stars!! Definitely give it a shot!!
Let me tell you about our experience at the ritual. We arrived on a Friday night around 10 p.m.. there is limited seating at this upscale trendy nightclub and so we were asked to wait in the lobby area until a seat became available. There were four of us and one of our party was a very talkative social engineer. He approached a table of two people that could easily seat 7 maybe 8, and in short order the couple agreed to allow our party to join them. The waitstaff promptly brought over a round of shots and refreshed everyone's drink. We didn't know the couple at the table beforehand but it turned out they were from Phoenix Arizona and they had a daughter in Actuarial Sciences at Purdue. We had the great time getting to know them exchanging stories and yes even talkin about the weather. 2 Days Later we discovered in an old Facebook Messenger Exchange that is their daughter and our daughter we're contemplating being roommates 2 years earlier. This is the type of exchange you're likely to find at the ritual.

We love the place. The music and atmosphere is awesome ! There’s nothing else in Lafayette like the Ritual. Is a small quaintly modern place to hang out for a good drink ! I recommend the spicy Margarita!!!
Sub-par service; the bartenders are too occupied with side conversation, took over 15 minutes to get a menu after seating. The bartender with a beard acts more like a bouncer than someone in customer service; rude tone of voice and delivery. Overall overpriced for the experience. Would recommend if you reevaluate your staffing.
Good drinks but awkward atmosphere. Booths are snug, table fixed in place. Extremely loud and aggressive music on a Sunday evening, contrasting with the overall aesthetic of an upscale and cozy cocktail bar. The drinks are well-made but so overly filled to the glass brim that it's nearly impossible for the server to place and the guest to pick up for the first sip without someone spilling.
Loved Ritual. Such an awesome vibe throughout including decor, seating, and music. Rotating cocktail menus make for unique drinks frequently. Food menu is delicious despite the drinks being the highlight. It's a new favorite for sure.

Not sure what's up with the person who seemed to create two accounts just to spout off a ramble about how rude this place is. I've watched all sorts here since opening with multiple visits and want to think there was much more added to the situation in the head than what really happened. This place is classy and finally a spot to dress up downtown, so small though! Not for groups or the gang, come with 2 to 4 cleaned faces ready to sip fantastic drink craft. Their original menu is plenty good enough to go off of, that cold brew carajilla! Wow! So rich and well balanced, I've made that my favorite. I've been here twice and haven't seen any issues besides the pint size space too tight for swinging pints. Which is fine for those long days to deal the stress a quality solution. Good prices too, much better value than any other local mixology bar even though 8Eleven has a much richer menu and larger area. Can easily highly recommend Ritual.
