The owners are huge Greatful Dead fans. Treat each other with dignity and respect and always pay it forward.The staff here live by this moto and makes the customer experience amazing! Being a vodaka drinker it is very refreshing having there signature drink infused with lavender and orange notes in the gin! The bbq with the different sauces is pretty amazing! Just ask for more water if they become too spicy. The atmosphere is like stepping back in the 1960's garage with good service and very flavourful bbq dishes to temp any palette.
First time in since they made the switch to table service and it did not disappoint! Warmly greeted upon entering, the host asked me if I had any seating preferences and accommodated. The bartender Daniel was quick to greet and very knowledgeable on the menu. The “house cleaner”cocktail with house-infused gin was a delight. I order The Desi Arnaz sandwich; mouth-watering and very generous portioning. Great job all around.
Today was our first time at this restaurant and I am so impressed with everything. From the moment we walked in the food smelled so good the staff was friendly and greeted us immediately. Matt The Bartender was one of the nicest people we have met by far anywhere in town waiting on us. He did an outstanding job! The food was incredible. Service the best very fast service. I can’t wait to come back. You won’t be disappointed. This place is a gem downtown and our cocktails were amazing! Thanks guys! See you soon ??♥️
Very nice restaurant! Laid back atmosphere, and there is a coffee shop located inside as well. Seems to have something for everyone! The pastrami sandwich was unlike any pastrami I've ever had before, truly amazing, I was blown away by the taste! If you're looking for a nice place to pop into at the end of your walk down Main Street, definitely give this place a visit!!
As a student who enjoyed coming here on evenings and weekends, I've been highly disappointed that this once quaint and quiet cafe became a full fledged restaurant. I don't think Ripple & Co appreciated the customers they were already serving and the atmosphere has greatly reduced it's appeal.I thought with Ripple and Co including Grey House in their business, this would remain a neutral spot for studying and/or enjoying a meal with your family. Instead, the restaurant aspect to this place has completely taken over.
Since the turn over to a fine dining type establishment, this place is awesome. I loved the atmosphere before and the food, but service at my table was better. Kevin was a great waiter! We had Korean brisket tacos and a brisket sandwich with street corn. All was very good.
A friend and I had lunch at Ripple today - our first visit and we were impressed. We sat by the bar as it seemed to be a bit more private than the open dining area. I had the pastrami sandwich and was impressed by the quality of the meat, which was thickly sliced, moist and extremely tender. The house made barbecue chips were OK, but I will probably sub on my next visit. My friend had the Korean tacos and he found them to be quite tasty. We didn't see the upstairs seating area, but will hopefully get a chance to check it out when the weather becomes more temperate. Service was outstanding! Sam kept a watchful eye on our table and she was the absolute best - management, please be aware that she's a keeper! I'll definitely visit again and would recommend this establishment to others.
Still wonderful food, but I do wonder if ripple overweight the ask for it to be a sit-down restaurant, and didn't properly appreciate all of the people who sat quietly enjoying what it already was, not needing to voice a want for things to stay the same because they had no idea a change was in the works.Ripple used to be a place students and patrons could order at their leisure and enjoy the atmosphere while meeting or completing work.The new set up has reduced that atmosphere significantly
Seriously, one of the best experiences we've had in Lafayette. They just opened 5 days ago as a full-service restaurant and they are killing it! The food was fantastic! Service (for 5 days in) was some of the best I've experienced. Thanks for that, Matt!! We were approached by the manager/owner (not sure which) and had a great convo, which doesn't happen as much as it should. 10 out of 10 recommend! Can't wait to return!!!
Over hyped. Other than the meat, most of what you order is pre-manufactured. Yes, the Mac an cheese that you order with your brisket is microwaved. They don't care about the staff here - do not work here. Regardless of how good you are they will let you go.
