Revolution Barbeque's food is always delicious. They have some of the best barbecue in town, and don't have to smother it in sauce for you to notice.The strawberry habanero barbecue sauce (and really all the rest) you can get on the side is the bomb! The mac and cheese wasn't really my favorite, but I loved the brisket, slaw, and beans.It's a beautiful, downtown-style space and it's clear they take pride in keeping their business clean.We recently ordered pickup for 11:45, and got there 15 minutes early. They quickly were able to speed up our order and get it to us in less than 5 minutes.
They've been open for a couple 3 years now, was unaware! Popped in a couple months ago for the first time and loved it. Was very surprised on how good the food was as I am very picky on smoked meats. Since the first visit I've been back multiple times and they have yet to disappoint, other than they've been out of boiled peanuts for the past 2 visits (my wife loves them). It can be a little bit pricey, but the food is well worth it.
Great service!! And amazing food! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with smoked onions and baked beans, the pulled pork was really juicy and flavorful, the baked beans were very delicious, I would highly recommend this place to people that come to the Lafayette downtown.Edit: I forgot about one item I ordered, cause they make it fresh, and it was the Mac and cheese, it was so creamy and cheesy!!! Would definitely buy it again!!
Fantastic food and atmosphere. Got the pork belly and fried pickles to start, wonderful flavor and portions. They have prob the best sweet tea I’ve ever had this side of the Mississippi.
all around best BBQ spot in Lafayette. from the modern industrial interior design, to the unique drinks/cocktails, house made sauces, and the crazy good food — I definitely see myself coming back for more!
No wait. Well priced. Hot and tasty. Brisket smoked for 12-16 hrs was like soft butter. Cornbread cooked crispy and soft in a waffle maker. Mac and cheese from scratch was to die for. Bourbon bacon baked beans was a treat! Everything was locally sourced and from scratch as much as possible. Great atmosphere and customer service. This is a rate gem among Lafayette downtown dinning. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
The minute you walk in the door you know it's gonna be good food! This is an "order at the counter" place, where they give you a number for the table. Fast service, we had our food within 10 minutes of sitting down.The hubby ordered the turkey sandwich with tots, I had one each of the tacos "American style" (coleslaw and cheese). He had to help eat the food I couldn't finish, because the tacos were so big. Delicious and juicy meat, great flavor. We shared an order of mac n cheese. Spiral noodles and a good cheese sauce.The atmosphere feels like a hangout spot with old alcohol boxes and Star Wars toys on display. The bar selection is incredible, too! They have 3 different bourbon flights (didn't try this time, will be back!), and very creative cocktails.I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and will absolutely be coming back! Really loved the cheddar grit cakes! They were incredibly well done. Also the meat. Also the potato salad.Basically, you just can’t go wrong with anything here!! Will keep coming back again and again. It’s a new favorite to introduce to friends who come in town!
Cute little quaint place that’s tucked off in town. The restaurant itself is really nice. The lighting is great and the music definitely makes the atmosphere! To start they had a nice drink special: beer and a shot for $5! We definitely took advantage of that. Their Boozy Slushy was a whiskey root beer and it was delicious! I’d highly recommend trying whatever flavor they have! Food wise, they were out of the brisket, chicken and the mustard greens when we went. It sucks because I wanted to order both the brisket and greens! Other than that, the food was tasty and flavorful. Our server was pretty decent and attentive himself! I’d definitely recommend this BBQ place to anyone looking for some good cooked food!Photo 1: Pulled Pork PlateThe pulled pork was good. There weren’t any fatty pieces, which was a positive. The serving amount was just right - not too much and not too little! It all had a great taste. The Mac and cheese was pretty good and very creamy. The potato salad was okay. One was topped with pico and the other was topped with coleslaw - go pico. I’m disappointed because I wanted to try the brisket tacos, but they were out of brisket! My boyfriend and I ate here for the first time and the food is absolutely amazing! Excellent customer service and we received our food super fast! We will definitely come back!
