The food was alright but I didn’t agree with they’re fried rice or the price I paid. The fried rice was Super bland & light yellow. Probably won’t be going back there , & Only reason I gave them a chance was because my favorite Chinese place (en lai) was closed on Tuesdays. Overall this place was fast & friendly, I just wasn’t impressed with the rice or the price . For two combo meals, boneless ribs, & two extra egg rolls cost me $40 I thought that was a bit much for feeding only two people.
The sweet and sour chicken was not fresh chicken it was processed like a cheap chicken nuggets. It was not good tasting and chewy.
Worst Chinese food I ever tried to eat! They don’t velvet their beef right so the beef is bland and tough. The fried rice is so bland the color of it is nearly white. I had to throw it away and go back out and find something else. The people on here saying this is good food OBVIOUSLY haven’t EVER tasted real Chinese food that has flavor.
Website, Google, and the outside of their establishment all say they do dine in. False advertising and an inconvenience when you travel a ways to come eat here. A customer should never have to call to ask.Update:I ordered food from Peking despite past inconvenient experiences. The containers they use for hot food are pie tins. Containers to keep food fresh, not insulate them to keep them warm. The lids are cheap plastic, and when I got my food the container was melted and there was plastic in my food. Food that my child was eating. I had to fish plastic out of his mouth because he couldn’t swallow. This is a health risk, people. Stop cutting corners and get good containers for your food. This is a shame because I enjoy the food here but I am disappointed again. I will be contacting the Board of Health and a lawyer if I’m not contacted regarding this issue. I am more than displeased.
I had to come into town for a kids birthday party. They didn't have any food there at the party. I came here to order some steamed dumplings and I am SOOOO glad I did. They are huge and delicious! My next trip up this way JUST might be only for dumplings :) Fantastic!
Never had a bad meal with them, very friendly and food is the absolute best in all of Lafayette. We drive 18 minutes just to get it, it’s so delicious
Horrible! Staff is rude. Had to physically wait outside in the rain for 5 minutes before they would let me in to pick up food.Fried food is so soggy I can actually ring grease out of it! The pork in the lo mein is just pieces of fat. What a waste of money! Will never patronize this business again!
This is your standard Hong Kong style Chinese food. The food is very well prepared and tasty. Portions are generous, and they've always been fast. The wonton soup is short on wontons, but the broth is amazing for recovering from a hard endurance event.
The people are hard working and very nice. THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS. Best price, best quantity and quality. I never go anywhere else when I want Chinese food.
Food was excellent! I had ordered the lunch specials and the donuts. They serve big portions which my family and I enjoyed. Everything is made fresh. Great Chinese flavor!
