Not your typical Mexican restaurant experience, it’s better! Drinks are phenomenal (if you’re just drinking), quac + chips/salsa trio were the perfect starters… then as a vegetarian, the beet tortilla veggie tacos were next level! Adding this to our rotation of restaurants to go to down town!
A+ atmosphere, food, drinks, service, artwork...everything! if you haven't been yet a must-go! Our first time there, we will definitely be back!
Nom Nom's is a hidden treasure in downtown Lafayette. They opened in Feb 2022. My husband and I checked it out tonight, and it far exceeded our expectations! The General Manager Cici is really nice and welcoming not to mention the beautiful artwork! They even have a cute party room with fun neon signs asking to have your selfish taken with. Then you discover the food, traditional Mexican, I had the Chilaquiles and my husband the Quesadilla and the Carna Asada taco...all three were the best we've ever had! Now, for the main event...the tequila menu is HUGE...so many choices, but we tried the traditional and Nom Nom Margaritas- both were flavorful and I can't wait to try the other varieties they have. This is our new favorite place in Lafayatte, and will definitely be back!!! Thanks for a GREAT experience!!
Wow! Where do I start?! Hands down the BEST Mexican restaurant in town. Every Mexican restaurant is always the same style of food, & even the same names on the menu? but this is really what I’m talking about! The food really talks for itself. You pay for what you get, I left with a full happy tummy haha. All the sauces have a unique flavor & I just loved it so much. The way they decorate their plates, & even their drinks! Very fancy & well thought out. The customer service was another thing, I left super happy from how welcoming & how sweet they are.. it really felt like home. I also loved the decorations & it was all hand made. The owner really knew what he was doing when he opened this restaurant & honestly it has became a hit! I will be coming here as many times as I can! Tried most of the drinks & it was so good?? . I got the cheesy birria, definitely recommend! You won’t regret going :)) .
This place is great. The margaritas are well made, there is a pretty wide selection of tequila available, and the tacos are amazing. They provide a wonderful and fun atmosphere, and have great service. I will definitely be coming back soon!
Good food. Not the best parking option as it is downtown. Smaller portions but just right to eat it all. A little on the pricy side but will return to try more menu favorites. Photo is a shrimp taco.

We came here on a Friday night, super busy. Unfortunately we had a long wait on one of my friends plate but our waitress Jennifer was amazing. She was making sure we had everything we needed. Very attentive and sweet. We ordered the carne asada and the burrito. My fiancé ordered the tamarindo margarita. Definitely will be coming back for the great service and drinks
Great tasting and quality authentic food. Awesome service/staff. Love the chill and comfy atmosphere!!!! To top it off, the music is perfect! We’ll definitely be back.
