This has been my favorite donut place my entire life. However I got some the other day and I think they recently changed how they make their cake donuts. They are very different and not nearly as moist and soft. Now they taste similar to Dunkin :/. Apple fritter was delicious as always and the yeast donuts were ok. Hopefully they go back to their old recipes.

I have been a lifelong resident of Lafayette and have Mary Lou donuts through all the owners. I hate to say that these are the worst.They are sloppy looking, I could never take these to an event. The taste is day old oil and the donuts I bought today tasted like yesterday's donuts. Lastly, the price has increased and I wasted $8 on a 7 donuts I will not eat. I don't mind paying a little more for a donut that is delicious.
What a wonderful donut shop! Delicious smells and cheery staff greeted us when we walked in! The donuts were fresh and went great with the coffee we ordered. Thanks for the delectable experience! ?
The donuts the best in town, and the staff is as friendly as could be. However, the atmosphere of the 60+ year old truck stop style diner makes the experience as unique as it gets.
This is my favorite place to get a donut in Lafayette. They are priced very well, especially for a dozen. My favorite is the Boston crème, and often I’ll get a coffee with it. They have basic coffees that are quite good. They can get very busy, e socially in the morning, so I highly recommend ordering ahead of time and getting there early.
Great donuts, large variety of types, & great price! Very busy on Saturday mornings but well worth the wait every time! It’s a Lafayette staple, and for great reasons! Great donuts, friendly staff! We get donuts from only here because they are better than anywhere else!

Simply the best. The biggest, fullest, most delicious donuts I've ever had. Went Saturday morning and was unsure of stopping because the drive-thru line was around the building. Decided to try to go in, even if it took a long time. Walked in the door, young gal came right up and asked if she could help. I walked out the door in about 3 minutes with my 4 donuts. I couldn't believe it. This place is just great. Just wish it was bigger but that's part of its charm. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Mary Lou's undoubtedly has the best donuts in the Lafayette area. Their employees are friendly and understanding. I always get the chocolate iced with cream filling and/or powdered with lemon filling. They never disappoint, wish I could get over to this side of town more often!
The best! I love the donuts but also love the people. Every time I go in at least one other customer strikes up a pleasant convo with me (and that says a lot for antisocial me). I’m convinced the smell of Mary Lou donuts baking makes people more awesome.
