Not so "Freaky Fast" at Jimmy John's Lafayette, IN location at 2810 S Creasy Ln. Posted closing time online for Friday, July 1st was 10PM, we found the doors locked upon arrival at 8:50 PM. A couple of employees behind the front counter glanced up from their phones long enough to laugh at us and shake their heads. No attempt to inform us of the dining area closure or wave us over to the drive through. Standing outside the door, I am thinking that if Jimmy John's is so "Freaky Fast" why couldn't they serve us at 8:50 and still close by posted 10PM time on a Friday. Deciding to try the drive through, we saw four more employees grouped together in the back section of the store, all on cell phones. At the order kiosk we waited awhile for someone to finally ask what we needed. Asking if we could order takeout at 8:50 PM we waited again for a lukewarm reply "Yes, what is your order." At this point we were no longer interested in patronizing Jimmy John's. If the restaurant cannot be trusted to maintain posted times, can employees be trusted to adhere to sanitary food preparation practices? My husband and I have enjoyed Jimmy John's since one opened in Indianapolis more than 20 years ago. This experience has us concerned about trusting any Jimmy John's in the future. From what we could tell, the only "Freaky Fast" thing about this Jimmy John's was how "Freaky Fast" the Friday night crew chose to to close on July 1.
Usually have OK service at this location but went in on a Saturday night and was the only person there but still had to wait on my online order. Got it home and my #1 & had 3 pieces of ham, my Cubano had 3 pieces of ham & 2 pieces of bacon and about a dozen pickles. Do employees get a bonus for cost cutting measures like not delivering what I paid for?
Lafayette store has always great sandwiches. Located next to Menard on Creasy.
I always have excellent service and experience at Jimmy Johns. I spent $16.27 today and was able to feed myself and my 2 children. Wonderful food and very filling.
The best roast beef (Big John) sandwich I've had in a long time. The lettuce was super crispy, and the bread was delicious and fresh.
2 stars for getting my food delivered quickly. -1 star because they did not bring my chip's or straw. -2 stars because this is the 3rd time they have messed up my order. Upong calling them about it, I was told they would charge me again, didnt know when Id be refunded my original order, offered to get me a straw and chips in 30 minutes... not 5 minutes later another jimmy guy was at the door delivering another employees order.
Ordered two sandwiches online using the app. To eat overnight while at work. I must have gotten a another persons sandwich since was not remotely close to the roast beef I ordered. Good thing I love all of their food .. still disappointed
Now I wasn't a fan of a cold deli sub when I grew up with Subway toasted. Buttttt Jimmy John's sandwich formulations and that bread on which love is created, a masterpiece was born. Havnt had one tested since. And the APP is amazing so download it.
I love JJ's I love how fast and convenient they are most of the time!! If your hour's say you are open till 11 be open till 11!!! We are night people and live 3 blocks less than 5 min. from a store and they do not have consistent hours!!!! I'm disabled and need delivery, I can't get out all the time!!!!
This location is 2 blocks from where I work. I have ordered multiple times from this location and it takes in upwards of an hour and a half or more to get my order. I understand everyone is short staffed, but this is unacceptable. I continue to give chances that they might get my order here timely but it never happens.
