I like the concept but missing a couple things in my opinion.. Staff could be friendlier, sandwiches are good but the fries suck and if you get lucky they will bring you a little thing of ketchup after you ask. I had the tenderloin and enjoyed it. Good ice as well
Woo! I had the Ruben and it was loaded up! So yummy! The fries were thin wedge style and also the best! My husband got the fried mushrooms....none for me iew....but he loves those things!!
Ordered delivery. My Chicago dogs were on par and tasty. My wife complained her Italian beef was bland and needed salt, oregano, and garlic. My daughter couldn't eat her cheeseburger because it was way too salty and inedible. Being a former native from South of Chicago, I had high hopes and was a little disappointed.
Great late night bar food. Recommend Ruben and Chicago style hot dogs ?. Bartender was polite and made us feel at home even though he's a Cubs fan. ?
Very very good place,food n service. We were very happy with the place,to be our 1st time. Great job.. i highly recommend this place!.thank you guys.
Used to be pretty good. Burger was barely cooked and soggy fries and onion rings. All the bench seats are trashed and it smelled like a dead mouse towards the back.
Between the two of us we found 3 hairs (of all kinds and colors that didn’t belong to us) in our food. One in the appetizer, one in the ranch dip of my meal, and one of them in my fiancé’s hamburger that my he pulled out of his mouth after taking a bite. This all happened as we listened to our waitress and other staff loudly discuss their skin conditions/body rashes (sharing specifics about the staph infection that she had on her butt). It was all around unpleasant and gross. We vowed that we will never return.
Amazing food! Waitresses were sitting near us, and seemed oblivious to the idea we could hear them. They weren't bad, just funny how their customer service voices switched on when they got closer to us. ? No real wait for food either, we had an amazing time.
I like this place! This was our second time visiting and I love the Old Town Chicago vibe. Bonus points for having Old style!The Chicago Italian beef wasn't quite right, but everything else was on point. For sure get the cheese curds!!Also, don't let the port a potty doors fool you, it's actually a pretty good bathroom and not a port a potty!
Tenderloin was ok, not thick like I would prefer. Hazy little thing was great. Son had a Mac n Cheese burger and couple mixed drinks that were obviously to his liking. Lady behind the bar, Adrian I think, offered great service and was very attentive!!
