In an effort to shop local, we recently worked with Dog 'n Suds to provide lunch for approximately 200 attendees at Tippecanoe School Corporation's CD Academy. Raya is fabulous to work with, communicates frequently, and is very conscientious about detail. Of course, the food and service were a big hit! Highly recommend!
I live near a Dog n Suds in Montague, MI and go there often during the summer. Happened to come across this location and was very excited about getting the perch sandwich, like I do back home.Well, I'm sorry to say I was extremely disappointed! It literally looked like you went to meijer, bought a bag of fish from the frozen section, deep fried it, threw a piece of cheese on there and then charged me $8 for it.In Michigan, at both locations in Muskegon county you get 3 pieces of perch, battered and deep fried. So good!I'd give less stars but the fries were good & the waitress was friendly. I'm sure their other food is good but stay way from the fish.
You just don't see drive-ins like this these days! I'm old enough to remember eating at a few like this during my childhood back around the region. Most have long since closed. This place brought back found memories. The Root beer and coneys here are fantastic. There's something really unique about the chili, it has a hint of sweetness that really sets it off. I love that they have a four pack of rootbeers to go. I bought some to bring back to Georgia to share with my wife. Thanks for the memories and the meal. I hope you never close. Boiler up!

Since moving to Arizona, I don't get my yearly dose of Dog n Suds. We just came back for a visit & was able to get my Coney Cheese Dog! YUM! Just as I remember! Next time, Boilermaker! I love this place; a must go to!?❤️
Coney cheese dog. Coney sauce was to sweet for me. Mel's drive in has the best Coney sauce and have them grill the foot long dogs add cheese and onions with a order of there deep fried pepper jack cheese balls on the side with ranch and of course cherry marshmallow shake to wash it down. Can't beat Mel's off Kentucky Ave in Mars Hill mmhmmm good stuff right there
Love this place. Great food. Great service.
Food is great! Love the root beer floats.
I've gone to D & S my whole life and I have to say last night was the worst meal. We were late having dinner so ran there cause its quick and good. It was about 7:30 I ordered a ribeye sandwich ask for it completely plain and of course it had mayo and lettuce. Didn't want to wait so I just scraped off and ate it. It was also so grissly I could only eat part of it. My husband and I both got mushrooms, we were amazed at how grease soaked they were. Literally they were dripping and swimming in it! I think the grease needed desperately changed. They truly looked and tasted like they used a spoon and scooped them out of fryer and plopped in container with out draining. I didn't complain, I should have. I was completely disappointed and hoping this was just a bad day and not going down hill this much!
The food was VERY good! I had tenderloin, fried mushrooms & a root beer. My biggest complaint is the root beer was handed to me about 1/2 full. It is too expensive to get a cup 1/2 full. My husband did unknowingly enter through the door that was for employees only to ask for them to top the root beer off and I ended up with 2/3 a cup of root beer. The employees in the kitchen stopped everything and were staring at him like he had 3 heads for going in that door. I was dying laughing at their reaction.2 bits of advice… if you don’t want customers walking inside the doors, place the ‘employees only’ sign on both doors. The door he entered had no sign. We are not from the area and had never been there. Our root beer stand has an indoor counter for customers. The other thing is If the foam is that extreme, try to find a way to get rid of the foam so the customer gets a full cup (especially when they are asking for you to top it off since it wasn’t full already). Our waitress was very nice, the overall price was reasonable and the food was good.
