Waitress was very friendly. Food was good. Banana bread was awesome! However, we waited a long time even though it wasn't too busy. Looked like they were short staffed.
Great service from our waitress Jennifer and the food was good. We were greeted when we came into the restaurant. Nice place.
Would have been 5 stars but they were put of banana bread ;-). Always good, always consistent. Love the turkey dinner. Husband ha chickenand noodles and he was happy.
Stopped here for breakfast today (it was after 1pm) the waitress was nice but we were ignored for a bit before being seated. We ordered, we received and we had issues. No grits were available, they burned the ‘signature’ sausage…they served beef gravy on the biscuits and gravy (had to ask for a redo) the white gravy had far too much flour in it, the home fries were dried out and had an odd sweet flavor. We tipped the waitress cause she was learning but we did ask for a manager AFTER we paid just to inform him of the gravy issues. He told us they DO place brown gravy with pork sausage in it on top of BREAKFAST meals. Like I’m not 40 years old and have made countless breakfasts or have eaten at a Bob Evan’s before. The weasel actually told me that’s normal. I suggested that if that’s how they do it in Lafayette then maybe they should ask you at the table if you want BEEF gravy with your eggs… should have just got the Chik’ fillla instead :(
My sister and I went to breakfast. All the service was quick and efficient. All employees were friendly. The food was hot when it arrived and cooked to our requests. We had a delicious meal. The only thing we waited for was our check. :)
This Bob Evans can be pretty hit or miss. Sometimes the service is great and the food excellent. Other times the service is drawn out and the food so-so. I’m rooting for them to get it in gear and be their best. That said I’d be hesitant to recommend this location.
This location is feels clean, timely service and consistent on the quality of the food. We like to go early for breakfast on weekends and always happy when we see Judy the waitress is on duty. She's fantastic!
We had a LARGE Mary Kay group on the 1st of April and our waiter Andrew did an absolutely awesome job! He was running 2 large groups about 35 people and did great!! Shout out to Andrew!!
The waitress was super nice and the food was great ... wished we had a Bob Evans in Pell City ...
I am 74 years old and have eaten in restaurants from coast to coast. If I were starving to death I would not go back to this Bob Evans. The only thing good was the biscuits. My son ordered steak and shrimp. The steak was bloodly and the shrimp was dark brown and way past done. I ordered the crusted Cod with corn and carrots. Again the cod was burnt on the outside and I had to break it apart because it couldn't be cut. I have never given such a bad review and only do so to keep others from the utter disappointment.
