I actually miss the old school wait staff...but to be honest, the hostess/greeter was chipper and informative. The kiosk was super simple and the food came out fast, and was 100% correct. :)
Food was good and hot. Don't like that, when you order on the app for curbside pickup, you have to call when you get there. Should be something on the app, to notify them pf your arrival. That is an app/chain issue, not the fault of this particular location.
You are forced to order on screens, get your own pop, and pick from a slimmed down menu. What use to be a great dining experience changed to no service place for taking out or a sit down meal. Staff wasn't friendly and even got my hamburger wrong and I didn't know it until I got back to my hotel next door. I never had another location in the old set up do that. I will not be back to any of this chain if others have been switched to this style.
It us wonderful now! The self service is great because you don't have to wait on refills. Good customer service and meals are out quickly. The only thing I don't like is the discontinued their chicken strip meal.
I haven't been to a Steak n Shake in one or two years.I ordered a cheeseburger using the kiosk which was fine with me. I received my order quickly but found it to be warm but not hot. In addition, I noticed the hamburger had changed. It now had a large bun that was crumbly and the meat had no flavor.It is too bad that the steak burger is not the same as previously served. I can go along time without returning.
Great food, made quick as expected for fast food, friendly employees, and great service. The only downside was the tea wasn't sweet enough for me, then again I love my southern Sweet tea.
Always amazing!! I ordered online and by the time I got there it was ready to go, never disappointed at steak n shake.
Walked in resturant... everything is order by the screen. Had several people do thier order and go sit down.. just seems very complex. WHAT Happened to a waitress..or waiters taking orders.?

Great burgers and shakes, but fries leave much to be desired. If you're going on the drive thru, bring a book and turn your car off. There's going to be a long wait while they make it. Onion rings are amazing.
