Second time happened that our orders got screwed here in Kokomo. We order thru online and pick it up. So disappointed! Check first your order before you accept them or else you'll get disappointed!
Fairly new restaurant. Been there a couple times now. Haven't been disappointed. Always seems to be busy.
I just LOVE having a few noodles to go with my cabbage! Chow mein should be called cabbage chow with a hint of lo mein. Absolutely ridiculous.
Though we've gone to various Panda Express locations around the country; this was our first visit to the Kokomo location. The facility is clean and well-maintained; with the typical franchise decor. The staff, though harried, were attentive and accommodating. The food was tasty, amply portioned and reasonably priced; with enough leftover for later snacking. We enjoyed the orange chicken, broccoli & beef, almond shrimp and (especially) the grilled teriyaki chicken; and both the lo mein & fried rice made for satisfying accompanyaments. Considering the constant lines (both inside & drive-thru), while we were there; we're not the only ones who enjoy this restaurant.
Really Wish we got a second fork and fortune cookie since we got two meals, and really wanted chopsticks too!!! .... But the food was completely amazing and the prices are just right!! Highly recommend it if you want really good food but only have about fifteen bucks a person to spend. I only have two words to say, Amazing and Delicious!!! Thank you, Panda!!! Made my day!!!
When we arrived at Panda we were told no spring rolls were available. We were told spring rolls were only delivered Friday morning and they were already out by Saturday, this was normal so basically they only have them 1 day a week (might as well remove them from the menu. We then placed our order 1 plate with a side of rice. My gf then added another side of 1/2 and 1/2 rice and greens, we were told that was an 8 minute wait ✋ we declined the greens and opted for just a full side of rice. When we arrived at the window we were not given the second side of rice, apparently they had confused our order and thought we meant the rice that came with the plate so all we got was the plate. After minutes of arguing with us about who was right and who was wrong the manager "Richard" told us we were wrong and if we wanted a second side of rice we needed to drive back through and pay for it while our other entree would sit and get cold. We refused, I then proceeded to hand my plate back and asked for a refund. Richard said "No, you have your food you're not getting a refund". At this point we drove off having been robbed and literally having the worst customer service experience I've ever had in my 30 years of existence.
The food is great. If you dine in the servings are bigger then when you go through the drive through.
The wait was long despite staffing looking adequate. Our server did an incredible job despite the lack of help from her coworkers. The chow mein was pretty good and the orange chicken was delicious. The portion sizes were on the larger side and left enough to take home.
Would not give change. Would only take exact amount or you did not get change. Was not told before I ordered, only when I went to pay. Was forced to give almost $5 extra because of it . Which they promised to put in the charity bucket. But really who knows.Did not get sauce for teriyaki chicken even though I asked. Was not a good experience. Staff was not very friendly
Watched staff take the trash out and not wash their hands. Behind the counter was dirty. Slow service and when I called to complain the reaction and the way I was talked to made it worse I will never be back. The District Manager would not even respond. Oh I almost forgot watched one employee go out in the lobby and eat and go back and eat no washing of the hands there either. I guess COVID is not a concern for them or any other health issue. GROSS
