Gordo’s is pretty much the only food I eat out consistently. We cook at home almost always. Yet, the other night, I cheated and got Gordo’s on my way home before going home to also eat dinner my husband cooked. Not even ashamed. When you need Gordo’s beef and carne asada (yes I got 2 things hahaha), you listen to your hunger. Also can’t go wrong with the hot or mild salsa. Been eating Gordo’s for almost 13 delicious years.
Tacos are very bland. No seasonings or salts appear to be used on the meats. Should offer limes and/or condiments. Salsa is fine. Prices do not reflect quality. Edit: Reading the reviews, I got a very different experience than others. Will have to give it a second try.
One of the worst tacos I've ever had. Very little meat, no cheese, no lettuce, no tomato and we ordered them deluxe. We got them to go so maybe that was the problem but all they were was 3 corn tortillas with a tiny bit of meat per taco. Very disappointing. I gave 2 stars because maybe they had a bad night and I'll try them again to see if that changes.
When I say these tacos were amazing, I mean it. I’ve been looking for a place where I can get a taco that is filling, flavorful & offers both American tacos for the kids & Mexican tacos for us. Every week we have tried a new place & Gordon’s won us over for sure. Thank you also for being so kind!! It goes a long way and we will be back!
The food is amazing, my favorites are the carne asada and fajita burritos. Gotta try Gordo's if you're in Kokomo!
Drive up only friendly service food wasn't what was expected, pretty expensive for what I got, enchiladas beans and rice right out of the freezer, beans out of the can . Nothing to brag about really disappointed with the food. Well it stayed warm for a while in the container.
The massive EL GORDO But burrito should be called the two day Burrito it is amazing and huge . The wife and I stopped and ordered take out we haven't had it in years and boy have we missed out . They even gave our puppy a treat .
Food was wonderful, but need to invest in a speaker for the drive thru, also I ordered the sampler and it came on a paper plate with foil over it, might be a good investment to buy to go containers.
Not the Gordos I remember, food was tasty but was overpriced, also overcharged our order; payed for items we didn’t receive after a lengthy wait. If you want the best tacos that are worth the wait I recommend El Borrego on Union Street for a much more desired authentic taste.
I went there last week and there were 3 issues that caused us just to leave without ordering. Their dining room wasn't open (while everyone else in Kokomo is). They were all out of carnitas, and so when I asked for a menu at the window because I needed to figure out what else to order, the girl sounded confused and then told us they didn't have menus. I'm thinking we'll what DO you have then? We just left. I used to love this place but seems to have gone down hill for sure.
